Thinking of getting a clit hood piercing

maybe, but to have the area shaved makes it easier for the artist to see what their doing, and it is most definately easier to clean and swab the area after the piercing has been done. I bathed mine 4 times a day, took salt baths, and was generally very careful, I never touched it or let my hubby touch it unless our hands were washed etc and I never had any problems with infections or things turning nasty. I followed the care sheet that I was given by the artist to the letter and all worked out fine, but to each their own
