Karen do you know how true it is that escort agencies filter who can work for the agency based on looks?

I think there's a sterotype out there that they cater to high end clients who expect, for lack of a better way to say this, 8-10 looks in the looks department.

And that they will pressure some girls to have some kinda of body modification to appeal to clients?

How true are these myths based on what you've heard?

 

This is a massive social issue. No government will risk state-controlled brothels but there is always a demand for sex. It's a basic human need. But anytime we can take out the risks of infection & the risks to working girls then that needs to be backed.

How can you suggest any girl become a prostitute?? It's awful.

But I would be a hypocrite as I have paid for oral sex twice but never full sex as I'm very wary of the consequences.

For me, I know I can go out and pay for sex within 30 mins if I really wanted to. But in my head I know I won't.

I prefer to have a healthy loving relationship with women if at all possible. But people have needs and no woman in her right mind actually WANTS to become a prostitute.

Even if you say you enjoy having sex, just offer it to friends then, if you do it safely. They'll love you for that... but... then there's the social labels of "slut", "easy lay" etc.. so the best form of pleasure is discretion...

I lived in Atlanta in the early 90's and I use to frequent a strip club called Magic City. There was a beautiful dancer there named Natalie and she was the only girl I would let dance for me. On most nights, I would spend +$200 on her. I know for a fact that she would usually make $900-$1200 per night. She only worked three days a week. Now, the landscape of the stripping game is different here in NYC so I dont know what kind of money u can make here. But stripping beats selling your ass.

It depends on what city you are talking about. The expectations and standards are higher in the largest cities, where there is more money to be made.

You could definitely benefit from spending some time working in a strip club. It's kind of like extreme speed dating; a crash course in human nature. Working 8 hours a day, you can talk to thousands of men in a year. Most will only care about your body. The others will stand out, after you have a lot of experience and learn what to look for. I think you would learn a lot about men, if you do that for a year or two.

Actually it's the oldest profession in the world. Hookers are a dime a dozen. So are broken relationships and selfish people. You want to break out of the mold? Have a healthy, loving, long relationship that doesn't end in a divorce. That will make you stand out.

Doing break and enters at night lets you have a lot of a free time during the day too. Having considered invading homes with an uzi? Lots of money there to be had, and you will be very respected at your job with a gun in your client's face.

Your whole post reads as if everything you know about sex for money comes from TV crime dramas. Your stereotypes and assumptions represent only the lowest, most basic level of a complex subculture. And with your attitude, you're unlikely to get a girl who knows anything from personal experience to tell you the truth about any of it (in person).

IMHO you can rebel from your parents by stuffing them in a nursing home once your a successful college educated person and they need your help...that's our rebellion right there.

And while bodyguards might be hired for prostitutes, I doubt the bodyguard can prevent a bad client from his abusive goal.

I asked about that.

Standard procedure is to drop off your handbag in the bathroom. If things go in a bad direction, you lock yourself in the bathroom if you can, and use your cell phone. Clients also have some fear that the tough guy is gonna show up before they can pack their stuff and get out of the room, which is an incentive to behave. If everybody is having fun and a customer wants to pay for a second or third hour, she excuses herself and sends a text message from the bathroom.

But that's the second layer of protection. The most important thing is having a lot of skill when it comes to figuring out who is potentially violent and who just wants to have a good time. Some girls just have a natural talent for it. They're the ones who love this kind of work. The others are just taking huge risks for money, like the drug addicts in the TV shows.

I hate to say it, but money is an effective screening tool too. Most of the dangerous guys can't afford to pay much for a girl, or go to the nicer clubs, or stay at one of the better hotels in a big city. I'm sure you've already thought through all the physical repercussions of this, like being raped or contracting an STD.

I know it's easy to think: "I like sex, I'm good at it, pay me." - but it doesn't work like that. You think you become 'sexually empowered' because you believe you're in control of your own sexuality.
The reality is, you've become the most powerless person possible.
It's the johns that hold the power, and it's the pimps, it's the diseases that control you and weaken you.
Your beautiful body, that should be precious and honored, even if it's only from yourself, will be used and tossed away.
The touches and feelings that should be associated with love and passion will instead be ruined by those that are only looking for their own physical satisfaction.

Prostituting yourself won't lead to empowerment or happiness, it's a dark path that once you get on, is almost impossible to leave.

You will become a husk, nothing left but a body to be used and abused by others.

You deserve much more than that.
