Nope it's a perfect solution for the age old problem of not having enough space in the trunk of a sports car, while at the same time not having the feeling of freedom you get from a sortscar in a pickuptruck. the only downside I see is in gasoline consumption...unless one of them is electric
Covid-19 rules and behaviour confuse me a lot. The government say that we should cough in to our elbow, then they say that instead of shaking hands we should bump our elbows together, of course while being 2 meters apart (meaning you need really freakishly long elbows), the thing is to me none of that makes sense even if you don't consider the almost impossible task of bumping elbows while keeping distance. When you bump elboows together, you brng your self in closer to the other person than you do by shaking their hand, and if you cough in your elbow then you are also bringing in the potential virus closer to the other person than you would with a handshake. I'm confused but at a higher level
Notice anything strange about this old black and white photo? When we saw it, it gave us the creeps… In this picture, taken in 1900, you can see fifteen women posing with their arms crossed. They’re all looking straight into the camera. They are standing in front of a clothing factory just outside Belfast, Ireland, and are wearing their work clothes. At first glance nothing seems wrong with the picture, but when you look more closely, you can see something remarkable. We will you give a hint: pay attention to the woman on the bottom row; all the way to the right. If you take a good look at the unsuspecting woman, you can see that there’s a hand on her shoulder. But where is this hand coming from? All of the women have their arms crossed, so it can’t be the hand of one of her colleagues. It seems to be a hand without an owner.
A "long exposure" technique was probably used by the photographer in this particular case. The woman directly behind her in the back row most likely had her right hand resting on the shoulder and moved it to cross her arms while the photograph was being made. You would likely see a blur, but the forearm was behind the head of the woman on whose shoulder the hand rests. Instantaneous photography was invented prior to 1900, but many photographers still used long exposures at that time. Some photographers today still use long exposure techniques via slow shutter speed or moving the camera to capture motion in creative ways. One of the women in the finished picture still doesn't have her arms crossed, so there was likely some confusion about how they were to pose. One of two subjects with arms not crossed adopted the position while the shutter was still open, and the other did not.
Interesting. You are most likely correct. I have found a few photos similar. I will post them here later.
Under the UK law regarding Covid it is unlawful for me to travel the next neighbouring town approx. 7 miles .15 minute journey but other people it seems can still travel in and out of the country on an aircraft more than 7 miles obviously .
