I call my boyfriend my partner sometimes when talking about him to people I don't know very well. I do it because we don't really have plans to get married but we live together and have a child together so he's more than my boyfriend. We call each other co pilots but I don't think other people would really understand that one haha. There needs to be a better word for people in our situation because I don't really care for partner either. I'm glad people still study latin in other parts of the world. That doesn't annoy me at all.
it annoys me when i try to take a crap before a shower and cant then the urge comes after im all nice and clean
At my job, we sell large appliances and furniture, and it annoys me when people come in and buy something, then complain that they have no way to take it home.
I agree with this. People drive like idiots. I was looking for suggestions for writing a new stand up routine and you've inadvertently just inspired me to write a bit about road rage and people not using their turn signal.. Maybe I should look back and read through this thread lol, I might find some more inspiration.
The use of a US flag rather than a British one on that picture annoys me.. I mean, it's not like it's our language or anything...
...when you call someone and you get their voicemail and they don't have a personalized message so you have to wait for the robotic voice to say "you have reached (ten digit number is read off sloooowly), please record your message after the beep" and it's taking so long that you just wanna hang up..
ha, but I think most people have their voice mail set up that way. Do you? After I posted that, I realized mine is like that but it's because my phone and number are recently new and I forgot about setting up the voicemail. So I just set up my voicemail now and was having trouble and what ended up getting recorded was me mummbling under my breath and saying fuck while I tried to record... lol I left it, short & sweet..
What about when people don't let you merge into their lane despite the fact that you've had your turn signal on for more than two-hundred feet already? Don't even get me started on the interstates and highways here.
old people who will drive 50 kilometres with their left turn signal on because they can't hear the tic tic tic
My mom who complains that someone won't let her over when she doesn't even have her signal on (wut??)
