    Cedar as it will wear well and is not toxic. :)

    The rails are all built and ready to go up, the stairs (3 sets) are ready to be assembled as they could all be done in the garage while it rains. The lattice is also all measured and cut ready to put up between the deck and the ground.

    I need one weekend to rip out the deck base and replace it with the new one. I have a crew of six of us just waiting.

    Just one weekend, please. :)

    Oh then if it is possible I need a week of dry weather to then seal it..... :)

    I am renting in the city. I still own my home in the country as I plan to move back there once the kids are all done at University. It is that home that I am putting the deck/veranda on. The one that is there needs to be replaced.

    Just need one weekend of no rain......keep some fingers crossed for me. :)
