I'll read what you have to say, but to say that Bush did and is doing the right thing with the war in Iraq the way you have and comparing it to Noah's Ark should be a skit on Comedy Central. If he's a man of such moral faith, why does he support China, which is widely known to be the single greatest violater of human rights in the world. You're pro-life - the Chinese government encourages abortion if a woman is pregnant with a baby girl. Why is he pro capital punishment? Why does he allow a secretary of defense remain in office after it has been proven that he condoned torture of innocent human beings?

George Bush and man of faith don't go hand in hand, I'm sorry. Wake up, there isn't enough time in the day for Bush to confess for all of his mounting sins against humanity.

You know what sucks about this? The other day moonjava was online, so I clicked her name and she was viewing this thread, and she stayed on it for at least 20 minutes. She obviously didn't post though, she's going to pretend like she never saw it or that she's too good and smart to reply....and in another few weeks she'll post another ignorant thread like this one. She didn't learn shit. She doesn't want to. She just wants to be right, and then run away whenever someone hits her with some info she can agrue logically against. She's trying to start shit.

That's why I don't even bother posting in any of the political forums anyomre, there are just too many people like her out there who aren't interesting in learning anything, who only come here in order to push their own opinions as truth and then bail out when they can't back them up. I get tired of bickering for no reason.

I'm still waiting for your response on these issues Moonjava. It completely blows my mind that you find that Bush is a man of good faith when almost every thing he does outside of going to church on Sunday, is completely corrupt and full of sin. Only the deaf, dumb and blind would look at Bush and say he is a man of good faith. Almost everything that he does contradicts Christianity.

 

I don't know why we support China, but it probably has something to do with their million man army, ya think? Look, I know Bush isn't perfect, but he can't control everything that happens in the world. Yes I am pro life, but how can Bush try to tell China not to do something when it is legal here in the states. At least his heart is in the right place when it comes to the abortion issue, and stopping partial-birth abortions was a wonderful thing even though he may not be able to make abortions illegal. Kerry openly supports abortion and the slaughtering of unborn life for pointless embryonic stem cell research. I don't have all the answers for you as far as the torturing of innocent humans goes. That really is a horrible thing, but you can't prove that Kerry would have fired him, either. I am also for capital punishment. I think people ought to know they will have severe consequences to their actions. If not, what kind of chaos would we live in?

 

A lot of times I am doing 4 or 5 different things online at once. If I was on this thread for 20 minutes, I might have only glanced at it before moving on to something else. Also, I don't have the greatest connection in the world, so it is possible that I got disconnected when I was going to post something. Please, stop assuming you know everything.

If you don't like debate or reading about ideas that are not your own, then I think you're right. Political discussions are not right for you. By the way, when was the last time a liberal gave in to my beliefs and accepted them as their own? Name one person who hasn't tried to push their opinions over on me as truth... please... I challenge you.

The Al Queda leaders and Saddam did meet in the 90's, but no deal was struck, and it was reported that the leaders of both groups were not fond of each other.

As far as the china thing goes, if you think bush can't control who he deals with, them why do we place sanctions against certain countries who are no threat to our way of life (like cuba) when countries like china are free to continue doing the shit they do with absolutely nothing done about it?

The thing is, that George Bush the first sold weapons to Saddam before and during his war with Iran. During that war Bush sold wepons to both sides.
