I'm assuming he's been burned, and people who are hurt tend to hurt others. Especially since he's lost a bunch of weight, the over weight are easy targets for him. I'm not saying it's right by any means, but that's generally the way it works.

Aside from that, from what I can tell he's probably a good person under all that anger.

Idk. Sometimes I just like giving people that benefit of the doubt.

 

I consider PR a good friend.

That said, I don't know what his problem is with everything and everyone- espiecially females... is lately.

....the thing is guys, I've known PR on here for many, many yrs (as many on here have... for me it's been almost 10 yrs), and Matt is a very good friend of mine because he is a GOOD PERSON. That said, PR (like everyone else), has his faults and downfalls. One thing with him though is, and I don't really know how much I should say about this on here... but he's brought it up himself in threads about him having some problems socially because of some possible things that...well, pretty much make some dealings with other people, more difficult or akward. I'm not sure I'm explaining it well... But, I'll just break it down like this, Matt is very, very intelligent but sometimes is lacking in how to say certain things without coming across the wrong way (Matt, I'm not putting you down! Don't take that the wrong way, please) ....
----anyways, part of the reason I consider PR one of my better friends on here is, there have been times in the past where certain people have ganged up on me here...real herd mentality... mean girl type stuff... and through all the worst of it, Matt has never done that. He just doesn't go to some mean, hurtful places even though A LOT of other people have...the only "mean" things he has ever said to me have been in jokes, which he can do because he is my friend and I know where it is coming from. Starting to go off here ... (and on and on) so I'll break it down and shut up.
I know PR means nothing mean or personal but he doesn't always come across the way I think he means to.
And yes, I think, especially lately, he has been coming across as kind of arrogant and conceited ...esp. on the weight issue... *MAMA* is exactly right on the things she said regarding him and weight and weight loss.
Matty, it's not cool to act all "ewwww, fat people are so gross!!!111"... but I think he knows that...

i have too and so have a bunch of other people.. it's almost like you keep talking like this so people don't forget what a good job you did. I may be way off base so I'll end this here w this.
Instead of getting upset with him... if you are his friend, or even if not, you can tell something is bothering him, so instead of getting all mad at him on here, why not message him n ask if everything is okay? That's what I just did.

But, Matt, it is distasteful to come across the way you are on the weight issue. It makes you seem mean and nasty really, even though you really are not.
And, we become our actions... meaning, we ARE what we DO.

One thing that I do find ironic (and makes me wonder if he is trolling... look under his name), is that he is always talking about how the elitists use (amongst other things) division to gain more power and control- and he elaborates that "divide and conquer" is used to divide parents against children, black against white.... and men against women.- and then somehow he falls right into the trap that he knows all about of divided mean and women...

Hmm..interesting.

Sometimes I wonder- when the guys on here start talking about women in a certain way, what women they are talking about. Because I don't see all these things being done on any sort of large-scale on hf.



How bout this one for you boys? (and the ladies)...
Has anyone but me noticed how there have been many different threads (or off-topic discussions in other threads) by men about how women are awful for this reason or that reason and things aren't fair for this reason or that reason..), yet there are hardly EVER any threads by the females (or off-topics postings) doing the same thing? That's because the WOMEN, largely, would not put up with that shit.

 

I really don't care, tbh.

 

If you're talking financially, no that doesn't matter to me. I make my own money.

Maybe by society's standards I don't have to be PC, but as a human being, I like to be kind. That has nothing to do with having a vagina.

Also, those things I listed are not requirements, nor do I think short/non-muscular men are unattractive.

Well, no one is requiring you to care so that's cool.

 

I'm sure, because you are very intelligent and have common sense that you already know this, but just throwing it out there..
there is a difference between being kind and being p.c.
Being kind is by far better, mostly because it comes from a place of truly caring and seeing no reason to be mean to people.

 

I just have this one thing to add: PR is very lucky to have a friend like AT.
