Soaringeagle knows best, I have listened to his words and I'm nearing the 1 month point on my journey. I am happy and content that it will take me a long time to have dreads, especially since my hair isnt much more then 3 inches. Kiwii has been annoyingly stubborn and is trying to show that he knows more about dreadlocks then most of the people on this forum. His nonchalant comments have been insulting to everyone on here. If he doesn't want to listen to any advice on how to save his glued together mess then he shouldn't have posted on this forum.
mandy i locve ya loke crazy..and plsz always speak your mind i appreciate it when u do kiwi im sorry i came off so strongly..and if glue was a lil screw up i woulda just said so and mon..but the reason ive dedicated tso much yime and effortr into showing ya how bad it is is because its such a HUGE screw up oh btww whoever asked about the water solubility..its not at all..many of the glues even have that in the name non water silulable... think asbouit it its the same crwap used to hold in hair extensions (remember the chick he had put in the glue is an expert at...fake dreads..synthetic plastic dreads glued to yoiur hair.. they dont copme out from washing do they? they need harsh chemicals top dissolve the gluye to remove them.. my whole point to him was ..if hes so sure the crap will just go away..then what could it really hurt to get the glue removers and make sure he gets it out? the thread inside the dread at the tips probly wont mold..it might..but..it probly wont..we all get fuzz syuck in em that doesnt.. but..then again folding the tip over tting it up then glueing it togerther..how exactly is that gonna help it dread? sure in syntheytic fake dreads that might help it look like nice blunt ends (which we all know are highly overrated) but how wiull folded ends ever become dreaded? the new growth above the folded glued tips..that will dread ofcourse.. but the rest near the tips..will always have a fake look to it unless u undo the dammage shed done...which is really really simple..use the glue remover..unfold the ends remove the strings..then let em do what dreads do...dread by next year you'll have earned the right to call em mayure...maturity is something u earn not buy..
