There's some really mean people here.

i know you sensed the sexual tension between us, and i thank you for giving me this opportunity to spend some alone time with her.

 

I always related this place to starting college.

You have to realize that you can't walk in as a freshman and act like you own the place.

Once you become a sophmore, people start acting OK toward you.

And junior and senior year just rock.

I must admit, a lot of the posts I've been seeing from new people have a lot of attitude...yes, we have a lot of people here with an attitude already, but think about it as you are in your life. Would you walk into a party and start barking politics and views and opinions that you believe are right? Probably not.

Get established, make some friends, stand up for what you believe in, and make the most of the people here. There are a lot of great people here and there is a lot to learn from these great people.

I think there are just a lot of rational people here who enjoy a good debate, and you want to post some, well uh...weird ideas and expect everyone to agree with you.

It's the internet. Everyone is here because they're bored and have nothing better to do. Expect people to debate with you and challenge you if for no other reason than to pass the time

 

Their is also a whole section of this forum dedicated to drugs pills and the such. For being a downer you could get some info from the veterans about getting uppers.

 

I don't judge anyone but this is supposed to be a hippie forum isn't? Like what happen to peace and love and just enjoying the wonderfulness of just "being." Some of you guys seem to have some issues to work out.

But hey, it's all good. We all are born having to learn certain lessons in life on the road to perfection and union with the universe. Perhaps some of the angry people on here were too much of a push over in their past lives and now they just need to swing to the other extreme before finding a balance.

As I said I'm not judging. Be what you have to be and do whatever it is that you have to do. Just try remember that you should do it for love

Attitude ??

I don't think I could give anyone attitude even if my life depended on it. You remind me of my neighbor that's always complaining that I meditate naked in my solarium. As I said to him, if you don't like what you're looking at, then don't look at it.

Now if I sat on his front driveway meditating naked that would certainly be giving someone attitude. Ho hum hummie ho, I'm just going to keep being me and expressing the love that I have in my hart for all living things in this universe.

hippies are still allowed, even encouraged, to think for themselves. if being a hippie meant just mindlessly agreeing with everything that was said to you, the 60s would have been VERY different, and i'm pretty sure nobody would even know what a hippie was today.

I really think that some people take internet people too seriously.

Just go with the friggen flow and say what you want on here. Let people fuss. Jesus...no one cares about you meditating naked in front of your neighbor, but if you feel like sharing, we will make the most of it.

 

I thnk one of the biggest keys to understanding this site and its users is learning to recognize sarcasm. Sometimes the post or section is nothing but it, sometimes only the end of the sentence.

Their are many parts of this forum that are very serious and you wont see any bullshit comments. Other parts the only way to get along with everyone is if you to join in on the bullshit....you'll get it.

But's kind of a real bummer that they'll close a section to prevent further conversation. It just doesn't really seem like any kind of freedom to express yourself when you have to worry about someone doing that to you.

 

i think people respond negatively to you because, despite your whole free love and oneness stuff, you seem unwilling to even consider the possibility that you might be wrong about something and i get the impression that when someone disagrees with you, you think they're doing it just to be negative.

Well you've automatically assumed that I'm wrong, crazy and on drugs. Many of you didn't even want to take a moment to see where I'm at before you declared war. And like any war many claimed I was the bad guy. Sorry but that's not cool especially since it's obvious that I don't fight or argue.

I've never once claimed to be right on anything. In fact I really don't believe the concepts of right or wrong or good or bad. What I believe in is love and absence of love.

When people carry around a lot of anger and are quick to attack.. That's a heavy burden and over time it just leads to health problems. Personally I've tried to haul that load in my life and I'm just not that strong. It's obvious my perspective isn't shared by many people on here but it's also not shared by the general public. So I'm pretty used to it.
