Nice spin. The loss of sovernity of all nations is a good thing? I can't imagine this NWO you speak of. If you're ready to march into that new world, have at it. I'm not. And I thank gawd that I'm 54 and not 24 at this stage of the game.
IMO The mere fact that you are where you are now (America) is down to the world order changing. I imagine you are reasonably happy in your world. If you are not, you can move to where you consider it is more to your taste. The fact that the world order is in flux now, is something we all should keep an eye on. But, I am not overly concerned there is going to be a complete paradigm shift, any time soon, or within my life time. Neither am I worried the gloved hand of fate is going to cover my mouth, and take me to a world in which I am completely unfamiliar with and would rather not be. You never know though. I'd imagine our POVs are the antithesis of each other, So, there is not a lot I can say to make you feel more relaxed. Zorba The Grape, I have read quite a lot. If you can recommend anything that is particularly prescient, let me know.
I would recommend that you read The Anglo-American Establishment by Carroll Quigley, a professor of history who taught at Harvard and Yale, and was a member of the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. This book traces the history of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the CFR, and how these organizations (really one organization) almost single-handedly created the League of Nations, and later the UN, for the purpose of creating a unified world system. Quigley was the official historian for the CFR for a number of years, and had access to their private records. This is a very important read.
Thanks. I did write a list of the web I had read. But then my computer froze (simple OS failure nothing more ) It did include CFR and Royal Institute of International Affairs, plus the Trilateral Commission.
Check out this thread for some mind blowing shit: http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=308975
I did not read the whole thread. But there are alot of people on this forum that think many things are some kind of "conspiracy"Well I got news for you, you're wrong.--Very bad policies have made the US government what it is nowadays.Policies like big business special interest groups, favoritism for the rich etc. etc. Example, The fact that a monster like Bush could get elected is due to how ignorant and downright stupid many Americans have become. NOT a conspiracy.
Oh, okay. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Making emphatic claims without anything to qualify them is truly one of the best debating tactics, second only to making lewd remarks about your opponent's mother and calling their sexuality into question. Well done.
I'm not trying to 'debate' with anyone,I don't have the time, nor do I care to go in depth about these issues.I just give my opinion. If some people want to believe in all types of conspiracy theories, that's fine.
There is a difference between researching and finding what you believe to be the truth and believing in "conspiracy theories". I am not a "conspiracy theorist", a "conspiracy buff", or anything like that. I don't enjoy reading about all the stupid ideas for conspiracies people come up with. It's a waste of time. But when you conduct actual research to find out for yourself what the truth is, that's a whole different thing than it is to read sites like Prison Planet and believe every word.
"Zorba"What you are refering too is different. What you do is 'good, researching and finding out the truth,or what you believe to be the truth(based on strong evidence) etc.-----In my original post here,I was referring to some other people on this forum or for that matter real life who think many things are just a conspiracy.
odon,I post to give my opinion. Some people like to debate an issue back and forth, and thats fine. But its just not my style,it takes to much time and effort. And I'm not good at debating with typed words.
Fair enough, but It seems a bit of a waste of your time. Granted, the world will not stop spinning if you do not converse with somebody, but it just seems a little pointless putting your opinions out there and not ironing them out with others. Whatever though dude. I like reading your posts.
