Seriously, though. What would your logical argument be? You can PM it if you want.

WOW! You're still at it Libertine. You truely seem tireless about your mission to condemn religion.

It has been a while since I have been on here, and, yep, you're still at it. What really drives this, passion or obsession, or whatever? You seem to have more diligence than a lot of Christians that I know trying to attest to and spread the word of their faith.

If God is so just and good, why are there so many thieves, liars and idiots in his churches, mosques, and synagogues?

Matter cannot be created or destroyed but it can turn into energy...

Energy cannot be created or destroyed but i can turn into Matter...

This tells me that no matter how big of a time span anyone puts on this earth or the universe, sometihng had to make or give the energy or matter... which ever one came first. :)

matter cannot be created, thus this tells you that at some point it had to be created?

I'm saying that no matter how long of a time span you put on this earth, something had to have either been created or given. Noone ever thinks of God as the source of all energy whether he makes energy or gives energy becasue it cannot be created. Take all energy from something, and only dust remains.

It's fairly simple, really. It deals with the principle of contradiction. The "omni-max" figure defies this law, as do "his" human attributes. Secondly, saying that some unknown, unproven (even by reason) invisible, intangible man "created" all that there is only pushing ignorance back one step. Where the hell did "he" come from? If "he" could "always exist", then so could the cosmos (everything). Matter cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change form, thus it is perfectly acceptable that the cosmos could have always existed, however I see NO proof that this "god" even EXISTS, much less is "infinite".

If you want to conceive that such a being which defies the principle of contradiction and every known law exists, then so be it. Sure, we COULD be wrong and all of our "knowledge" a big joke. But, until I have more reason to believe that then the facts of reality we now "know", I will remain unconvinced.

And I fail to see where Quantum Physics allows for such a "god". Only the Ramtha cult could twist QP into such a tool for more fucking religion and mystical bullshit.

When will this fucking world wake up and realize that there are no fucking angels or devils or invisible sky daddy. One thing IS eternal, or at least seems to be...the capacity for human self-deception.

This is the typical argument on the part of Christians.

"God as the uncaused first cause".

You cannot answer an unanswerable riddle simply by filling in the blank with your favorite answer and you cannot refute science with fables.

Oh wait... yeah, you can but it's not called science anymore, it's called faith. The difference is that you cannot logically argue faith because it only makes sense to the believer. Sorry again.

Yes, instead of creating a theory of things known to explain the unknown, they want to explain the unknown by the unknown and claim it is not a theory, but a fact!

    Talk about compulsory ignorance!

I think it's sad to read about people trying to tell you there is no God and tearing up the Christian religion, or any religion. People get mad at Christians for preaching their faith and yet what are they really doing?

Why can't people just live their own lives and believe what they want to believe? NO ONE knows what really happens to us after we die. There could be nothing or there could be something beautiful waiting for us.

Maybe we should be asking ourselves how do we want to live before we die? Do we want to be miserable or do we want to have some sort of meaning to our existance? So many choices...... :)

    EXACTLY! Why?

Maybe we should. Maybe not all of us are Christians. Maybe not all of us want to be. And maybe some of us are tired of having Christianity shoved down our throats. Maybe some of us were raised to be tolerant of all people, all religions, all creeds, and yet we're having Christ thrust upon us by those who are intolerant of all that is not "washed in the blood of the lamb". And maybe, just maybe we're so tired of it that we're shoving it back.

But most of all, maybe if there were not Christians trolling in the other forums and sending me PMs and emails extolling the many ways that Satan's demons will "torment my unrepentent soul in the fiery pits of hell" then maybe none of you would have ever heard of me or some of the others.

And there I was thinking you were cool and atypical. You're just like every other thumper. You'll try to convert me even as your drive the dagger into my back.

No thanks. I'm proud to be one of the snakes that survived St Patrick.

You're on here thumping anti-religion far more than I am on here thumping religion!

Anyway, I thought Thumper was the rabbit in the Bambi movie.
