    Took some pics today:

My new compost bin text to the old one. These ones are good because the whole front opens up on them to get in to turn them over. Made from recycled plastic, and sometimes free from the council/local authority in the UK. Rhubarb divided again behind the bins.

Going to have to strike up a deal with Heinz. Have nowhere to put all of these, planted hundreds with the intention of selling the plants, but was too late and had poor germination rates. Now I'm left with not enough to sell, but too many to give away.

Must be getting old. Some flowers in a herbaceous border. Still managed to get some chives in there though.

My official plant list, now that most are in the ground!
    Georgia Collards (2)
    Redbor Kale (2)
    Diablo Brussels Sprouts (2)
    Buttercrunch Lettuce (2)
Canasta Lettuce (1) - from seed
    Spinach (1) from seed
    Onions (many)
    Green Onions (many)
    Celebrity Tomatoes (5)
    Sun Gold Cherry Tomatoes (2)
    Big Boy Tomatoes (1)
    Black Princess Tomatoes (1)
Yellow Crookneck Summer Squash (2-4)- from seed, more to plant
Black Beauty Zucchini (2-4)- from seed, more to plant
    Oriental Express Eggplant (2)
    Jalapeno (1)
    Red Knight Bell Peppers (4)
Orange Sun (I think?) Bell Pepper (1)

    Herbs:
    Lemon Basil
    Rosemary
    Oregano
    Chives
(Sweet Basil, I gave mine away so I'm in the process of searching for the perfect replacement plant!)

I know I planted a ton of tomatoes, but many of them started to look bad after sitting in my sun room for a week before planting so I got a few extras as back up. I also rented out another bed so I could attempt a big boy when I was given a healthy looking plant for free. I am a novice though, so I planted a lot just in case some don't fruit properly or whatever.

I also work at a food bank so all excess will be donated there :)

    happy growing everyone!

I've got some tomatoes, red peppers, basil, mint, coriander and flat leaf parsley growing in the window of my flat, so far my tomatoes have flowered, grown but aren't ripe and my peppers are still flowers minus one little pepper thats started to grow in the past few days.

this is my first year. we have some planter boxes in the front yard.
but i started grapes last year and looks like I might get a harvest this year, they are growing very well. I also have spinach, potatoes, bush beans, romaine lettuce, watermelon, squash, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, broccoli, strawberries, various herbs and I think corn and pumpkin. It's not alot of each, but I plan to increase next year with more berries, more herbs, and some native perennials.

I had bought a ton of seeds and bulbs with the full intent to plant them all, until I realized how much work my yard needed. I'm about a third of the way through cleaning out the garden.

However, I do have a tomato plant growing in my patio. Not sure how it happened, but it did. So, soon enough I'll have some tomatoes!

I'm growing more than I can list, but the primary vegetables this year are focused on Romanesco cauliflower (aka Veronica broccoli, depending on who sells you the seeds), heirloom tomatoes (only ever heirloom, for everything), and squashes. Oh, and beans, lots of bush and pole beans.
