The U.S. 'used' to be a wonderful country. But many factors have changed that. The list is long.Face it while many other countries keep trying to improve, the US is falling apart.I would not even rank the US among the top 15 nations in the world now.Its quicky turning into a 2 class country(rich and poor),and that is similair to many third world nations.I reside one half of the year in the UK,and the UK and Europe put the U.S. of corporate America to shame.

I wonder if the US will ever be good again. What will have to happen? A revolution for sure. Will the US ever be returned to its former glory? With the US ever be "free"? or will the US turn into Nazi Germany; a police state?

Will, the US ever be good again?^^^^I'll tell you one thing, people would have to do alot more than complain on the internet about things.Perhaps that is part of the problem, people 'mistakenly think saying stuff on the internet makes a difference. It really does not.

Saying things on the internet is just like saying things anywhere else -- this whole "the internet is a fantasy land that doesn't exist in reality" shtick is totally played out. It does make a difference.

And yeah, this country does suck. It has no heart. But I wonder if it ever did.

Same. The way I see it, information sharing is hardly ever pointless. If nothing else, it gives a chance to sift out the bs.

Why do you Americans think Canada is so safe and peacefull?

It's not. We have gang violence, lying politicians, and power hungry cops too.

Oh ya, forgot to say celsius.

    So it's 89 farenheit today.

But friday was 37 (it was a record in tihs city) so that means it was 98 farenheit!

I'm slowly converting over to metric, whether I like it or not. I'm tempted to annoy everyone and give all the temperatures in Kelvin..lol

realistically, the US isn't the worst place in the world, but we're rapidly losing freedoms and being taught to wave little flags and be happy about it. As far as countries go, the US is barely out of diapers, and has a lot to learn, not to mention we really seem to be the 'thuggish teenager' of the world.
