Elon Musk Sets Off Uproar in Ukraine by Tweeting His ‘Peace’ Plan

Musk posted a Twitter poll gauging support for what he claimed was a likely outcome of the seven-month conflict. Specifically:

1. That the Ukrainian territory of Crimea, which Russia annexed by force in 2014, be permanently given to Russia and guaranteed a permanent water supply.
2. That the four regions of eastern Ukraine where Russia held sham referendums last month before illegally annexing the land be put to new referendums, this time organized by the United Nations.
3. That Ukraine should be forced to remain “neutral,” accomplishing the long-term Kremlin goal of barring Ukraine from joining the NATO defensive alliance.

“F--- off is my very diplomatic reply to you,” Ukraine’s outgoing ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, wrote in response to Musk’s tweet.

 

Any concession of territory will be upto the people of Ukraine and not a third party .

I've seen the longer, uncensored version of that one. Dead russian soldiers, who tried to flee in panic, as far as the eye can see. Many corpses in terrible condition from the explosions. Literal stuff of nightmares. Today's technology brings the raw reality of front line war directly to our living rooms almost in real time, and most certainly strips away all the heroic glory from it. This one's gonna be remembered as one of the most dirtiest wars in history.

That's... quite a number. Almost 1/140 of the whole current population. 700,000 men were smart enough to know what awaits them, if they go to Ukraine.

 

Well, I mean, if they die, they don't ever have to pay back.
