. There is honor, and possibly death, in saying "No... I will not"[/QUOTE] Have you ever had to be floating in that boat?
No, luckily I have not. I have walked out of working situations because I was told to do things I knew were not ethical, but that's nowhere near the same level.
Whatever military you serve. Disobeying an order is not an option and will often lead to a court martial and more likely execution . These Brits and the Moroccan will be able to appeal and hopefully these decisions can be overturned and proof submitted that these soldiers were regulars and not mercenaries and treated in accordance with the Genevan Convention of which Russia has signed up to . Ukraine themselves must also stop these kangaroo courts and behave accordingly . The case that the BM21 Grad crew members are guilty of shelling civilian targets is just as ridiculous . They have a range of upto 45 km and no way they could have seen the target . They would have been under orders from their battery commander and the weapon itself is not very accurate .Kind of hit and hope and thats why many of these fire salvos in unison.
I am always puzzled how some of this information is getting out ,assuming of course it is accurate . I am thinking British Special Forces such as SAS are on the ground. Unknown to some ,most of their work is Reconnaissance and information intelligence gathering .
Ukraine is not a member of NATO . If that was the case a fully fledged WW3 would be happening instead of the proxy war we currently have . That is because of NATO Resolution Article 5 which means basically an attack on one member is considered an attack on all the members and will be repulsed accordingly .
They do have there own armaments industry and manufacture many of their own weapons and ammunition . Obviously for some of the Western Supplied equipment which is of different calibre ,ammunition for these will have to come with the weapons A T84 Tank manufactured in the Ukraine The Neptune Anti Ship missile manufactured in the Ukraine
"thought to be gravely ill with gunshot wounds" Yeah, that's usually what happens when shot multiple times... wtf Seriously, who writes these news stories these days. That article is a train wreak.
Sorry guys. I will be hoping to place more material in this thread after a break and forum issues to attend . The KH22 is now very old and obsolete by western standards and as the above states a likely cause of collateral damage .
