The Ukraine Crisis Part 1 The initial Battles

The T80 BVM is perhaps the best of their T80 developed tanks . Possibly the most updated tank ,I have seen the Russians using in this conflict . Still not a match for Western Tanks.

 

Perhaps an equally worrying thing is that these children will learn not to be children with joy in their heart, but morever a young adult whose 'always prepared' for aggression and that War is a constant threat to their liberty.

They will be attuned more to the waryness and district of neighbours and create an atmosphere of fear, balanced with lethal response to both internal and external interference.

 

Child soldiers in any Country is perhaps the worst of images and way of life to live.
One knows it happens but is this really a way of life for us now?

It appears the hacker group Anonymous has chosen sides in this conflict

Anonymous leaks database of the Russian Ministry of Defense

On Friday evening, Anonymous claimed they managed to breach the database belonging to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Anonymous posted the database online and made it accessible to anyone. "Hackers all around the world: target Russia in the name of #Anonymous let them know we do not forgive, we do not forget. Anonymous owns fascists, always," the group tweeted.

It seems that the database contains officials' phone numbers, emails, and passwords. Twitter users seem excited about the news and continue discussing how they could use them to harm Putin's regime.

"Sign them up for GOP and Trump fundraising emails. That will be enough to drive them all crazy," one user suggested.

Many encouraged each other to send spam and malware to Russians. The original tweet announcing the leak and containing the link to the database was taken down because it "violated the Twitter Rules"

 

Any news on the ceasefire implored by Zelensky ?

 

Last I heard was in the early hours in my timezone this morning .

The Russians wanted to hold it in Minsk Belarus
The Ukrainians wanted it in Warsaw .

However the main reason for it not going ahead is the the President of the Ukraine has been declared as a target of the Russians .

 

That's the unofficial version of the real facts.....I believe it's going to be a short war, (said the generals at the start of WW2).

 

I cant see this lasting long if being honest. Whilst the Ukrainians have the will power and numbers to defend their country ,they just dont have the equipment .

Their main shortage in my view is effective Anti Aircraft weaponry .Shoulder fired Stinger missiles supplied by the US are just not enough .

I think the Russians are just waiting reinforcements and then they will try and make for the centre of the capital .


The best the defenders can do is to use antimobilsation tactics and take out the bridges over the river on the eastern side of the city . That will just delay things at best I guess.

I dont think China wants to be involved in this........they play nice(neutral) as always.............they are basicly the laughing third.

I dont think anybody is really going to stop Putin atm(geopolitics)...........although we can hurt him in his wallet. I am curious if he is going to do something with Estland/Letland/Lithuania(nato).

Dont think ww3 will break out over this..............i do feel for the Ukrainian people who have deal with this.

He wasnt democratically voted in . He is clearly using authoritarian measures .

 

BUT to what end? Free elections? Yes. Open press? Yes. Moving toward the EU and the West? Yes. Popular support? Yes.

Compared to the previous Putin-leaning one?
