It seems that while the documented exodus into Poland is happening and while that government is ill-prepared, that some of the US giant transport planes could be flying in 'humaniatrian' aid, tents,cots, bedding, food, etc into the established NATO ally Poland.

But as a side issue, having some of these boxes taken to the border, without crossing it, but have some Ukranians come across and drag them back into their country. Now, If some actually had small-arms and lots of boxes of ammnuniton inside, well who's to know?

Seems so very reminiscent of 1944 France and 'le resistance' of the civilians, where the Brits and US did what we could, that there ought to be a way to assist.

 

The Russian generals who disagree with this war(there are some) should overthrow Putin.

Yes but even Putin knows he will be finished if he resorted to Nuclear .
Despite the negatives of nuclear weapons the fear has kept the peace during the Cold War era and beyond .

The big mistake Ukraine made was to trade in their Nuclear Weapons in order for Russian to recognise their independence and Ukraine's security .

If Ukraine had maintained their nuclear deterrrent .then we wouldnt have this crisis we have today
