There is a big meeting of Nato today.

Plenty to discuss I guess with the escalation over night .

I am sure the no fly zone will be on the agenda again .

Personally I am more worried now on how this can escalate with the Nuclear Reactor fire and the only way of protecting it further will be a no flight zone ,

NATO imposing a No-fly zone would mean it would have to defend it.
That could see air-to-air conflict over the skies of Ukraine that results in fatalities with an aircraft shot down and/or it's payload crashing down of civilians along with being an excuse for the formal engagement of a blitzkrieg approach to dominate the entire Ukraine Country - by any means - as justification could now be claimed
    • But It gets worse

    Belarus would mobilise its Military,
The avenue to Poland could be blocked encicling the Ukranian people within its own borders and then
Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania (having been part of the Russian Empire since the end of the 18th century,- but after the Russian Revolution of 1917 becoming independent states) may be a focus of past heritage focus.
Turkey may re-evaluate its status, - and with China and North Korea in a position to be un-co-operate to US strategic positioning to Russias flank
The Eastern Bloc may rise again(?!?).

And this generation will play the Cold War Chess game that us Oldies remember ...

NATO are not doing nothing they are;(I believe) putting their pieces together - away from the Blue/Yellow v Red front line, in preparation for tactical deployment should the worse case scenario pan out.
Lets hope it does not get that far

Ok, the fire is out. It was just in an out-building used for training.

BUT, the Russians are now in control of the operators. And would have the switch in hand to turn off power to various parts or cities of the country

Yes, while this Ukraine war goes on, and Americans support Ukraine for the most part, The Supreme Court handed down 3 anti Muslim rulings. There are some Americans fighting on both sides of the Ukraine conflict. At least one white dude from Texas says he wants to come home on a tank????

I always chose peace.. I always chose love ...I always believe ...I love the lone star state of Texas as I love every day...just a dove always pursued and never preyed upon

This lady here instead of bowing down to lobbyist said she had her own assets to run a campaign and rode a oil pump to bring attention to her campaign ...very supreme ...I would like to start every new day without being ANTI ..I kept in thumb nail view not to offend ...as I always play defense and I barely take offense.. 7773C25F-B332-4C68-B9A4-861669EDF212.jpeg 465D41B7-D420-44F8-8ADB-38C43468DD14.jpeg

How does "muslim" enter into this? And Americans fighting on both sides? Who, where?

Sorry, don't mean to offend, I just don't get the references. I'm out for now..

As to the "no-fly-zone", everybody just needs to stop bringing it up. Ain't gonna happen! Way, way too risky.

Now there may be other methods some creative NATO and US, UK military minds can come up with, but direct contact is out. Damn shame, too.

And as to the power plant. All the news networks (all of them) keep harping on the word "nuclear" in every sentence. It makes good and exciting TV so they can keep viewers and ratings. And all sort of conjectures about irresponsible motives.

But, think about it, rationally. The Russian ground commanders are not idiots. If one watches the videos, the tracer rounds are going into the 'administrative' building. As a way to prep for the infantry people to walk in and take control. They were not about to hit the 'juicy things' with possible release of radiation, they want control of the electricity.

I remember ALL this same crap from right after WWII when west Berlin, Germany was blockaded by the soviet union in 1948. The four powers, the US, France, England and the Soviet Union were to administer the newly defeated Germany, but as is been the case since then--the Soviets (and later Russia , after the so-called fall)have been outlaws since then, IMO. The blockade precluded food, medicine or anything else from getting to the population of west Berlin. The US flew all of that into west Berlin, I believe supplying WB by air drops , defying and eventually breaking the blockade. That is what you get ( and got) and still have when a country like Russia continues to have totalitarian ambitions for the rest of the world, again IMO.

I'm not mentioning the economic harm we, the US has done over the decades--with occasional concomitant military forays---but at least we're not a totalitarian society where you can be disappeared, imprisoned or murdered outright --FOR WORDS. And we have not occupied countries that we have defeated in war as the Soviets did after WWII.

I've wondered, on the rare times when the faces of the Generals are shown. How many of those stony, rock-hard faces are thinking, "You pig-faced little fuck, If I could get hold of your throat....."
