The Ugliest Baby Contest

You guys are taking everything too seriously lighten up and realize that some things are "ugly" to some people and that the thread is not a cry for vane people everywhere and quit being so p.c. for god's sake! Let's say the most unattractive baby or how about the baby who looks most like Abe Vigoda maybe, would that be better? I'm sure that no harm was intended so please quit trying to find harm in everything and live some kind of life!

 

Anyone offended with this thread is taking it waaaay to serious! babies have wierd coloring, coned head, crazy hair, and silly poses. Plus the Random Thoughts Forum was getting a bit boring, and i was sure that there would be some people who would get all stirred up about it, therefore making it more interesting to me.

 

Aw, I found some really good ones earlier, but the right click was disabled, and I'm too lazy to try anything else. But the kid in the polo cracked me up.

 

i'm not taking it seriously. it's just that neither of the babies were ugly.

however, my little brother was about the ugliest baby i'd ever seen. i was 15 when he was born. oh my goodness, was he a wreck. i called him Boo, a la To Kill a Mockingbird, because he was so ugly. but he got awfully cute.

i read in a terry pratchett book that all babies look like winston churchill, kinda, and have seen it with every baby since then. my own babies were naturally beautiful to me. but everyone else's babies are plain ugly to me.

 

I like the way the married couple stands together but for the most part if I am offended by the phrase "ugly baby" I should be able to express how it offends me in a free speech forum in a thread about posting pictures of ugly babies.

I also work with many babies ... some aren't that cute, some have developmental problems, some were malformed due to mother's drug or alcohol use during pregnancy, and some have failure to thrive because of lack of nutrition on the mother's part... I just don't want to see the set up for some "ugly mentally challanged or crack addicted baby thread".

It is offensive. It was never PC was it? The picture posted was funny, the little newborn dude in the polo shirt.

 

i think most babies are ugly. i always have. i can't help that. it's not like i'm going to go out of my way to fight the idea. some things are just ugly to people. treating it humorously, and i don't mean the disabled or challenged, i mean good old fashioned, normal, ugly babies, is funny. point in fact, i have a picture of my adorable joey screaming her head off, sitting in dave's hand, looking like a hand puppet. i think it's in the mynameiskc gallery. it's an ugly baby picture.

 

That's what my friend told his sister that her baby looked like when she was born. But he was just being a copycat, lol. Still funny, but that kid's one of the cutest babies I've ever seen. She's got some crazy black hair all over the place and gigantic eyes, but she's precious, lol.

i wouldn't worry about it, ghost and cog. honestly, i've riled up people around here so often, totally unintentionally, but i'm still here.

 

It was all in harmless fun, yet it has came from a stupid fun thing to do when your bored, to a big deal that it is so offensive. i have a baby, i plan on getting pregnant THIS year, im not a baby hater! lol. I just got bored.

I don't think I am screaming that it is offensive, just as the other poster mentioned it in a respectful way.

 

If I did'nt want to see a man fucking a dead horse I would'nt click on the link and try to send a message trying to make the people feel guilty or morally wrong about it I would say hmmm some crazy sicko gets off on that and move on. If you do'nt intend to send a pic of an "ugly" baby (they exist god forbid one of you would say that i'm shallow for saying any word but neutral ones indicative of looks) then do'nt come in here being a whiny baby! There are worse things on the internet!!!

You must work in social services? I know this is the reason this term offends me. We see things that other people don't see. We see the detached view society truely has towards children who aren't theirs. The apathy is quite sickening and makes us very sensitive.

 

She has a right to voice her opinion just as we all have the right to laugh at ugly ass babies. What's the problem? :troll:

 

I would tend think that too except I'm not organized or meticulous enough with my house cleaning.

 

sorry. i'll ever defend the life of a baby. but not everone in this world is beautiful at birth. i looked like a hairy smurf and i'm not the least bit offended. ugly babies are adorable.
