Well, I agree. I hate quitting for other people out of being forced, or whatever. I'd rather just quit for me. And me alone. You know, what I mean?
i know what you mean. it is true it blows your money so fast.. i didn't have a job when i was in college, so the little money i had would go to buying pot. sometimes me and my roommate would scrape up some change to buy some. then we would smoke and it would be gone SO fast. i started developing a tolerance too, since i smoked so much, and after i would smoke i would get tired and lazy and then after awhile i started getting really sick and my immune system was really weak. i stopped smoking for a couple weeks, then earlier this summer i smoked everyday with my friend, but since i don't hang out w/ her anymore, i barely smoke anymore, and i feel SO much better! i still want to smoke, cause i love it, and i can't completely be done w/ it.. but for now i'm just gonna chill until someone offers to smoke me up or until i feel like buying my own and smoking
Thats good. Quitting is generally a good idea. Its good to chill and enjoy life without pot, and after those first two days or so, you're prolly gonna be loving it. When I quit, I can't figure out for the life of me why I would smoke so much. When I smoke, however, I cant figure out why the hell I quit haha. I went through a phase where I too would toke a blunt in the afternoon, and just crash when I started to get burned out. Even if I didnt sleep, I would just sit on the couch and watch TV; I had no energy, and no desire to do anything really, I was just beat. That is a very shitty thing to do on a day-to-day basis, and it is honestly a waste of life. So, if you were at that point, its great that you're quitting, you need it. If you decide to get back into it; I suggest buying very small amounts. Dimes, or if they aren't available, dub-sacks. And try only toking it at night a couple hours before you plan on sleeping. This way, when you get burned out, you can just crash, and wake up and still have a productive day the next day. And try only toking like every couple days, to conserve your money. With that cash you save, go and buy something nice for yourself, something you really enjoy, and it will help you get back into life without smoking pot constantly. Enjoy your time off. To be honest, it can be even funner than your days spent toking
^EXACTLY, I totaly know what you mean, I enjoy knowing this because It means I can keep the balance. Balance is the key, I can smoke occasionaly and easily take a break whenever I want. Long periods of binging on weed is not good.
