I wish people would learn not to post lower down the forums if they want sound advice for any genuine issue. They'll get told to ignore their doctors, do some drugs, expand their minds, do a rain dance and meditate and it'll all be ok. I'm an open-minded person, but this is bollocks

 

I once got into an argument with someone in the 'hippies' forum talking about a relative who had cancer. She was saying she'd told this relative not to take any of the anti cancer drugs, to stop going to the doctor and instead to go to some kind of shaman who claimed to be able to pull cancer out of their body using some mystical method. And in saying not to be so ridiculous, and that the best current scientific understanding was better than some quackery or snake oil from prehistoric times, I was in the minority I like this forum but there are a lot of crazy druggies, alternative new agey fools and people with no understanding of reality, who I'm afraid I see largely as idiots and very unenlightened... especially when it comes with a holier than thou "you just don't get it man" attitude...

 

I've been told you can catch cancer from Toads , I think I heard that in the Love & Sex forum..
