If you haven't listened to them in ages, you probably aren't aware of this but there are some crafty people down the youtube rabbit hole who mix Metallica songs from one album as if they were on a different album.

I'm a 5G installation engineer and people are constantly telling me absurd conspiracy theories, such as how 5G is giving them headaches, or killing their sperm. I think they are completely crazy...

Based on seeing them, I don't have doubts that they have nights where they are really great live. That's kind of the thing with live music, you might catch a band on an off night or you might catch them on a night where they are transcendent and make their records seem like a paltry representation. Although there are some bands that are just better or worse live.

I imagine full on tours can be pretty grueling and it's quite difficult to get every band member up each and every night for a peak performance, especially when you consider other factors like being away from friends/family and perhaps indulging in various activities after some concerts.

Time exists in the reality we experience. No doubt about it. Erosion is the ultimate evidence.

Yah, time and perception of time are two different things.

Time is relative but inextricably linked with space.

I like the first 4 Metallica CDs, i liked the black album as it was one of the first I got but not so much anymore. I do like Load but don't like reload. ST. anger isn't the worst now that I'm older. Magnetic was OK. Haven't really listened to the newer one much.

Justice is good, just some of the songs go for too long for my taste. It's just the original release has a lot of wugwugwugwug coming from the bass that ruins it on good systems, probably why it's been remastered so many times. I dunno, maybe they were migrating to their newer sound once Newstead replaced Burton.
