This virus is affecting many MANY work places here in SC. Going by yesterday's news SC is taking measures very similar to (if not the same as) NC. I hope they con't close down the little stores that carry less expensive (cheap lol) foods, cheaper pet foods, socks, underwear etc because I use them so regularly its not funny...and tbh I have no intention on stocking up on so much food and supplies that Mama, the cats and I could last 2 months. I have no idea where to even start in stocking up for such, and have even less idea where I'd put all that stuff! They say you can order groceries online...I feel sure that I could if I HAD to...but, it will be a HAVE TO situation before I'd do it. Hell it makes me nervous just having to think about what I'd order. I have to SEE the items to know what I want. Yes, I may have some mental problems. The trick is not to let it bother you. My cousin has been calling for the end of time for the past 20 yrs...but it you call her on it...she can come up with more excuses and "this is why"s than thought imaginable. She is losing her mind about this VIRUS TO END ALL. (She loves conspiracies.) She has even mailed me (us) surgical gloves, masks and eye protection. She is one of those people that actually seem to enjoy contemplating The End and feeling that she knows when it coming...even though I've reminded her time and time again NOBODY KNOWS WHEN THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN. I basically have to just sit back and offer no thoughts and opinions (if they differ from her's ) ... or she gets wound even tighter and I'm "not being supportive" So, there you go...yeah and like Sheldon, she will tell you she isn't crazy...she's been tested, and THAT IS THE TRUTH. Lord God.
i always wondered how i'd go in a crazy test. i mean i know i'd pass, but i kinda wanna know what you have to do.
I just got home from the morning, little earlier than usual. thinking about a bath or shower and then reading my book. see this is why i need to use kindle etc for books so i can read in the bath, but i just cant do it i need a book.
Yeah, the guy at work that I mentioned above is like that. He's been buying up silver in contemplation of societal collapse for years now. He came up today and offered to take me to buy some from...some damn place, I dunno. He's eating this shit up I tell ya.
I just had the most productive amazing idea ever, to go outside and mow my backyard i was to encourage growth for summer. but then i realised it is only 430am lol
Yeah I'll wait couple hours lol. What I'm really needing is it mown because I want to line our rabbit cages up with the hedge, leave a gap for access and hedging but the small hedge at the front of our pergola that blocks the rabbit hutches and lawn we are going to cut all that out and line the bed with white stones and possible 3 or 4 big vase I kinda want a central vase centre of the pergola with a lil bonsai in there. but it will open up our entertainment area a lot.
I'm happy to be on the wrong side of the HF tracks. But as I type this I'm neglecting my quarantine buddy. And she's really cute... Later stoners
Gorgeous morning this morning in Mittenwald. I waited the couple of hours until 645am to start the lawnmower. I think they expect 7am but meh. And anyway after I mowed my lawn I took my earplugs out and I heard someone else mowing their lawn, so I started that lol. So the hedge here to the left that's what we are going to take down. I know it's an ugly photo but this is what it looks from the inside kitchen lol. I need to wash the windows I know. But yeah take that hedge out and put white stones and some nice vases and plants that will compliment the vase I think will look great. This is the most grass on the back lawn that we've ever had. The back lawn is about 1/4 or less of the actual back yard. The double shed and my Girl Den is to the right, that's where my pool table is then there's our pergola and driveway area. Anyway im really happy with the grass coverage. Other than the dirt road there which is just the dog and our route to the rabbit pens I think the rest of the lawn is 95% covered. 12 months ago this was a snowy, muddy mudbog. Also in the top picture, my mini weed plant basking in the morning sun. top left.
They say that when you're looking for a house the right one will just grab you. I live in a smaller country community so less to choose from but we looked at about 6 houses. This was the last house. The moment I saw it from the street I knew it was the one. Although the inside is somewhat perculiar in terms of a TV room, the rest of the house and living space was big sized for two girls. Our bedrooms aren't big. But we don't plan on having children so that's no drama. I'd say 1/2 the actual house plan is living space, that's what we needed, not sleeping space. So 3 average room and 1 bathroom and a toilet room. Easily suitable for us considering my Girl Den has its own toilet. Then I looked at those tall hedges and I said perfect, absolute fucking privacy. We erected a small garden shed behind the double garage to complete isolate ourselves from the neighbours. Got the land, got the privacy. Next was can we keep a minimum of 2 German shephers here? Hell yes, easy. Maybe 5. Can the garage fit a pool table? Yes, tick that on the list, bought the table months after moving in lol. And finally, is there area to put in a hot tub in the future under the pergola? Hell yes there is. So yeah, I knew this was the house this was going to be our new home and it was all renovated inside with a big new kitchen before we moved in so that helped. Only thing that wasn't done was the painting inside but we are doing a room each year.
I remember when we first moved into it.. Now before we did we were always living in small town houses in Australia then move to Germany we ended up in a wooden shack at the back of my uncles property lol. We lived small. When we bought this place the first night... We stayed in the garage. We danced. We ate cold MacDonald's because the microwave was not set up. We lined up all our boxes in the garage... We didn't know what to do in our house. It was too big. It was too quiet. Lol. No it was much more comfortable to hang out in the garage that first night.
