Electric Wizard; stoner doom metal

The kinds of modern doom. The early days were 10-to riffs wreathed in distortion coming at you from a cloud of marijuana smoke. Last couple albums are have more compositional complexity, having a lot to do with line up changes.

Both of the last two are from Dopethrone, the album many consider their masterpiece. For a long time I thought it was a boring pile of overrated, but in recent weeks it has grown on me. I still wouldn't say it's their best though.
