SE have you heard about the rainbow fest up in steamboat springs CO every july i think it is? its interesting because you describe all the things you do at these festivals, when i visited steamboat a few years ago they were holding one up there and all the rainbows did was go into the stores, cut open the meat packages and wash their hands in the vegetable showers

 

hahaha ok 1st off i was there, that was not a gasthering that happens every year but was a gathering held in the same state as the very 1st gathering where thye cheif of police bragged openly about weanting to shoot hippies and the media told horror storries abouty home invassions and such that never happened
the thing u reffer to from steamboat was 1 such negative article that never happened it was stareted by 1 shop owner that was trying to get extra police protection out of fear..before the 1st hundred people set foot there
it never happened
the same paper and the same shop owner after the gathering hads nothing but good things to say, durring the few weeks they made more money then they dids the entire previos year, they had not 1 increase in shopliftiong or anything worth complaining about
b4 a gathgering the leop incident team likes to spread fear about thousands of hippies causing every crime imaginable and destroying the fortrest, this justrifies theyree 7 million dollar budghet for hgarrassing ppl in the woods..people that police thgemselves and creat e a safe enough envoironment to leave 1000 dollars byu the side of the trail for 2 weeks and come back to find it untouched (or moved to as more safe location)

before u judge read more then 1 negfative article or better yet come see for yourself

im not judging at all sir, i could care less, but this year im going to camp out in the chip aisle of albertsons and if i see hippies washing their hands, im blaming you i live in SB now im down to go to the lake and buy some headwraps from the rainbows, although i myself am not the hippie/rainbow type.

 

I love frizz! I think it's so cute. I like when I have frizz but I only have it after washing then it calms.

 

I think my face needs a bit of frizz around it. If my dreads all had perfectly neat roots I think it would be a little too harsh-looking. I do some tentative half-hearted frizz maintenance. Or rather, I have done it once in 8 months lol and that's it.

 

me too,my dreads look a lil flat after I aloe so now I only do that if they feel dry(which they never do!)I like having a halo of frizz

 

One thing that keeps me sane about frizz and loose hairs is another poster..not sure who now...referred to it as food for your dreads. Made me happy

i tried aloe and i personally was sad to see the frizz reduction

i saw this girl at veggie heaven the other day with long, beautiful dreads... very tight and mature, and she had all these loose hairs near her face. so natural and beautiful! i got a crochet hook but now i don't know if i'm going to use it i like my kinks!

well actualy the original article said rainbows stripped down naked in the isle and shgowered in the veggie mister if there was any reality at all someone stuck a hand in the mist to cool a vdery hot face it was over 96

as for buying headbands you cant buy odr sell anything there we use npo monet except for suplieses bopught at local businesses (trippling theyure annual ecponomy in 1 week) you can only trade or give
and as far as hippie rainbow types not all rainmbows are hippies some are ceos some world renowened teachers and writters doctors and lawyers somew punks some newborns to young to9 have a clue what they are... if you have a bellybutton your rainbow its that simple (well unless your very violent) so i really haver no idea how u can proclaim to not be the type when u clearly have no experience of what the type is

 

I saw in the paper the other day some model didn't have a bellybutton, it was a big shock thing because for her shoots they had to photoshop one in. anyway I am soo tired but think I'll take a photo before bed to post up and get this thread back on track!
