That's pretty cool. I've never played an acoustic bass. Is it a lot like playing a standard bass (actually, this probably isn't a good place to answer that. I feel bad getting topics really sidetracked).

I still want to try picking up the bass sometime. It seems like it'd be pretty sweet. And our school needs another bassist.

Playing acoustic is just like playing an electric....I still have to plug in to be heard over the guitars. Guess there is a reason you dont see many bass's around the ole bonfire. I have never played a standard if you mean an upright. Suppose the concept is the same..just a smaller friendlier version.
Man there is always need for a bass player..if you wanna be a working musician..bass is where it is at.
