I do find it funny how the world stops as soon as there is snow...
Once went walking to my ex's
60-70MPH Winds, driving snow etc etc... took over three hours. The amount o cars that were stuck was ... believable..
Now dont get me started on winds.. 60-70mph.. devastation south... Think you guys need better building control

Today the snow reminded me how lonely I am at uni... I have no one to go out in it with My lecture was cancelled today so I could have just stayed at home yesterday with my family, for the snow today Ggrrr I was gonna post a thread with my depressed moaning lol but couldn't find a fitting forum here... Meh xD I'm ok now. Haven't hyperventilated like that in a while xD

 

This past couple of years in Norway has really opened my eyes up to how pitifully embarrassingly the U.K. deals with snow...every year, like it's some kind of shock to get winter weather in...WINTER. Last week we had about 8-10 inches of snow over a weekend, and by 6.30am on Monday all the roads had been snow-ploughed and it was business as usual. Took maybe literally 5 minutes longer to drive my husband to work that day.
*shakes head with a deep sigh of resignation* When will Britain learn?

I hate snow...it finally all melted away here in northern Cali! Wooooooo friggin Hooooo!!!!! Although to my dismay I went hiking yesterday on a new trail and came across some snow....Rawr. It really sucked cuz I was wearing shorts and hiking sandals. I lost all feeling in my toes and they were all shades of crazy purple by the time we got back to the car. Hows that for sexay?! =] ooooh yeah.
On a sidenote...I tried posting pics over the wknd. but my computer is jurassic in age and apparently couldnt compute what I was telling it to do when downloading photos. In a couple of weeks i should get my student loan finally Yaaaaay! Then I can finally get a new computer and post some pics! So....it is all your jobs to keep this thread alive till then kapeesh?
Oh and Eagle.....[crap...I dont remember who sings this]....but uh.....*I can fly higher than an eagle, you are the wind beneath my wings....Fly, fly, flllyyyy away blah blah blah...dont know the rest. But the point is, I can fly higher than you and so you better watch it mister! lol.

 

awww Pmeister...I loooooooove your car man! I almost got a bug right before i had my daughter but the thing didnt have air conditioning and I figured with a new baby and 100 dgree plus sumemrs, i should prob have one of those. But.....I do plan on getting one at some point in my life. I want a sunset orange VW van! Oh just the thought of it makes me all giddy and happy!

 

i would never think of 'cali' and 'snow' in the same sentence,, it just seems unusual to me. although saying that, when i lived in saudi arabia, it snowed once..
