I have been SO worried about this
I've had mine done for a little over a year and they catch on everything, it sucks, plus I'm so afraid of infection I don't like to do anything with them, which is a huge bummer lol
So I'm gonna take them out soon, methinks, and everything I've read so far says I'll be fine for bebes

Yeah people are full of shit when it comes to body mods. People say your ears never go down if you stretch them - a buddy of mine had 1 inch flesh tunnels and within a year they were *almost* back to the original gauge. She never tore or jumped sizes though, which should be a fucking no brainer. But seriously, if your skin has enough elastic left in it it will shrink back down to a certain extent. OBV if you can hang a pop can in your ear it ain't gonna happen, but seriously.

And I've always thought the epidural thing was BS. Tattoos aren't fucking poison, otherwise you'd be screwed upon being tattooed. And the ink IS in your bloodstream during the tattooing and healing process - a tattoo is a goddamn open wound.

Ignorance isn't bliss it's just ammunition for stupid uneducated people. Whether it's dreads or piercings or tattoos, people who know nothing about them will make up the most bogus shit.

When the article said to leave them in I think it means as a last resort if they are brand new and would close up immediately... But yea you can get them pierced afterwards if they do close up.

Tanna I'd say it depends on the time scale If it'll be a few years before you wanna BF again, and you want the piercing/s, go for it, because 1) the piercings would have healed up fiiiine and would take longer for them to close up when you take them out or 2) you may have gotten bored of them by then ^^

But I guess taking the bar in and out everyday a few times a day won't be much good for the piercing... Unless its been healed fully? I dunno xD Irritation is a nunu.

I'm not really sure how this baby stuff works... xD But if you have one nipple pierced, is it possible to use the other nipple for the baby to suckle on maybe 3/4 of the time? Then take out the bar in the pierced nipple to feed the bebeh 1/4 of the time, or whatever, so you're using the pierced nipple less = less irritation blahblah

Single side breastfeeding is possible. Many women do not like to do it though as they feel weird with one breast making milk and the other not. But totally possible.

I'd take a picture of myself but I don't want too. If I posted it here I'd feel obliged to try make myself look sexy in some ridiculos way whether I was pouting, shirtless or being spread eagle on my bathroom floor with a couple of leaves over my nipples and a lady feeding grapes into my mouth.
