ive knownb a feww models even had a lil fling long ago with 1 of the top 10 sexiest women of films of all times and had freinds in the modeling industry and believe me its not somethiid wish on the wose person in the world
the whiole industry is disgusting and destructive..and yea some do come out of it ok but far miore are screwed up by it then anything else
even just being in a family with someone in the industry can be very distructive..
i knew the daughter of a modeling agency owner who was totaly turtured by just being near the industry even thoiugh shed never been really a part of it (unless you co9ncider being the posterchild for the affects of anorexia as being a part of the modeling industry)

so my point is.. dreadies should be damn proud that therees no dreadies in the industry

 

yeah, i see your point. the whole industry is superficial and corrupt. but, it is what it is, and it influences our children. it also influences society's view of what is beautiful. imagine if we DID have a dreadie supermodel!

 

modeling is a pretty relative term too- Like I feel like we are more talking about high fashion, and mainstream fashion modeling- I see nothing wrong with modeling in general. Like making art with human bodies is beautiful- regardless of shape, size, and culture.

 

I'm just realli fascinated with some models, like Erin Wasson and Kate Moss (in her hayday) it may sound sad but I can't help it lol, they are so beautiful and silly partying all the time and looking glamorous and skinny *swoon* but that link about polished dreadlocks made me lol. The way it was written was so ridiculous but clearly the person writing it thinks their great and realli on to something. And waoooo Miss Jamaica is amazing looking! So vibrant <3

 

if we had a dreadhead supermodel we would have dreadheads poping up all over the place, to be like her, as a fashion statement. i dont think i would like that

and more in the spirit of what this thread was supposed to be. luxiebow's and wastingthedawn's signatures is really sexy in my eyes. it doesnt have to be semi-nude to be sexy. just good use of color, and really playfull and lovely images by both of you. and both kind of mysterious. like it is some secret behid what is going on
