The Pull Out Method.

Emily, don't let 'em mess with you. My sweetie and I have used nothing but pull-out since, well, since before you were born and we would never NEVER use anything else.

We have two daughters, and no neither of them were accidents. One squirt in the right place on the right day = one baby, so we know we're fertile.

My lady won't let anything unnatural in her body, so no pills or cremes for her. And she wouldn't even let me think of condoms (which I'd tried with previous girlfriends and hated hated HATED!) So we had a couple of weeks of natural sex, resigned to the fact that we were going to make a baby. It literally didn't occur to us that I could pull out until we saw it in a porn video she confiscated from her little brother. You should have seen the big light bulb go on over our heads.

OK I grant you that your results may vary, but pulling out can be a reliable method of not getting pregnant. As my daughter (who owns a natural foods store) says, nobody makes any money off of it, though, so the makers of condoms and the drug companies team up to scare people into thinking it's unreliable so they can sell their products. It's a capitalist scam.

 

It IS unreliable. Just because you had the self control to pull out doesn't mean that her boyfriend does.

With respect I'd reply that saying withdrawal is unreliable because some guys can't or won't . . . is like saying the Pill is unreliable because some women will forget to take it every day.

(Or, my daughter just mentioned, like saying abstinence is unreliable because some people don't have the willpower to do it every time.)

If you do it right, it's about as reliable as condoms, and actually better than diaphragms, cremes, and sponges.

my friend got pregnant about a month ago doing the "pull out method" for a few weeks don't do it. it's only a matter of time before the bun is in the oven.

well the last i heard from my dr i'm infertile so this issue doesnt concern me as much as it might other people but from what i've heard the pullout method is a really bad way to try to prevent pregnancy i hear its more fantasy than anything else

 

why do you care about your natural cycle? wouldn't you rather not get pregnant than have a natural cycle??

 

Good luck on that. Every good looking couple I've ever known manage to have some seriously fucking ugly ass kids. Then you see a couple where the woman's eyes are too small and the guy's head is too big, they end up with damn near models. Nature's crazy, man.

 

What the fuck is with these doctors telling women they're infertile all the time? I swear, I've must have heard that a hundred times from females. And sure as the rain falls within less than a year they're preggers. Unless a woman is over 35, chances are her plumbing is begging for seed like a starving animal stuck out in the snow crying for it's mother. Count on it.

just use da spermicidal foam or cervical cap
or the copper iuds for the girls wit no kids

 

I'm another voice of reason in saying that pulling out doesn't work. I'm about 6 weeks along because of our "reliable" birth control methods... I tried 3 different kinds of the pill and they all made me really sick. And after a while, we grew a little too lazy for condoms, but please use something unless you're ready. Thankfully, I am capable of doing this, but at 16 I wouldn't have dreamed of it.

 

My mom, a wise woman, put me on the pill age 15 and didn't tell dad until I was like 19.

 

The pull out method is darn near fool-proof. The trick is, you have to stand on your head and blow your nose immediately after sex -- just in case.
