considering his religion and the time in which he lived, he probably wouldnt be too keen on cheeseburgers or conch fritters, either, so why should anyone concern themselves with what he likes?

Well, it's one of those things that was hyped up SOOOO much and then when I finally saw it and was like "Eh", it was a pretty much big disappointment. I can't stand Fred Savage either. It was Fred, not Ben, right? Because I did like Boy Meets World, so I can't talk shit on the young'n.

 

that's how american pie was for me. but i mean...the princess bride. it's a classic. i'm a huge fan of adventure/fantasy movies though. and the upbeat fairy tale twist to it just made it that much cooler.

 

i know what you mean. i love the movie, but i think it could have been done much better. the framing device only works in the book, in the movie it's just corny and stupid, and yeah the little kid bugs me. discard that, make the movie longer to add more of the cool details like the zoo of death and all the things they have to do for miracle max before he heals westley and stuff.....then maybe we'll talk

i'm not saying its a bad movie, i really like it. i just think it could be way better.

 

I don't know, lol, I hate fairy tales and fantasy/adventure is SO far from something I like. The movie was destined to fail based on my likes/dislikes. Not to mention, I don't think I can say I'm that big of a fan of most movies period. But I can accept how other people could be so crazy over it. I mean, the things I like are fucking weeeeiiiiirrrrd, lol.
