I've also read Goldman's abridged version of Morganstern's novel. Its an interesting read, but not quite the same. Reiner brought a lot to the table.

 

Great movie. They showed it at the movie theater last weekend for $2.

its a pretty good movie, but the book is absolutely spectacular. if you haven't read it, you're really doing yourself a huge disservice.

Yeah...I think that quote might be the foundation of why I hate that movie.

 

watched 10 minutes... maybe because i was older, it didnt capture my attention

 

I was afraid of that. That just shows it's the best part......or the most irritating.
