No offense but where I live....we have parents who are in charge of their children. We don't need someone else telling us what to do with our kids.

 

And it should be said.....we do have some shitty parents....they should stand on their own feet.

 

There is no curfew here either, that is odd to me.

But I think they are doing it because the 'protesters' are destroying their own community.

And glad to hear you guys are packin the heat up north. If shit hits the fan make your way down here. I'm not even involved in the gun community and see stockpiles of ammo frequently. One of my neighbors has over 250,000 rounds. Drives an infiniti and plays golf, lol.

 

I never understood it myself. friend and I would go to the movies and pizza never stopped by the police it was well after 12pm/ ?///Curfew is 10pm.. I understand the need to limit congregations of youth after a certain hour. Its been like that in every Township, Burroughs, city where I live for my life time. Individual youths walking are usually not bothered.. The curfew imposed is to limit the noise of gathering youths. not to violate anyones individual rights .. We have been staying outside late all our lives. never bothered by the police.. Im a honky though.

 

Spent my childhood in Missouri. Couldn't by liquor on sundays and no freakin right turn on red. Don't know about now.

Now that the second autopsy report is out, showing that Michael Brown was shot six times, I don't think there will be any chance for decline in the violence until the officer is formally charged with murder. Brown's family doesn't want all this chaos going on while they're in mourning and trying to plan his funeral, but nobody seems to care what they think.

A McDonald's was attacked overnight, with the employees (mostly black) afraid to leave the building. I'm not following the line of thought there. What does McDonald's have to do with anything? Now, those employees are out of work. It doesn't mean anything to local police or city government.

The Missouri National Guard will be out in force tonight. While I don't ever like seeing military equipment being used for crowd control, if it has to be used, I trust the National Guard with such things much more than I trust any city police force. The NG doesn't have a reputation for being aggressive and mean.

 

This is exactly what I thought. Apart from the racial side of things people need to get it in their heads not to mess with the cops and generally stay off their radar.

It should really be common knowledge by now that police use "inciters" like screaming in your face to make you lose it. If you so much as lift a finger it's viewed as resisting arrest and you get canned. Touch the guy and it's battery of an officer. Those are felonies. And that shit is legal.

 

There are instigators in every movement; while most of the crowds are peaceful protesters, some are there simply for a night of rioting, looting, and tossing Molotov cocktails at the police

Sure. The big dilemma is figuring out how to stop them while respecting the rights of legitimate protesters. Not easily done.

In some cases, I wouldn't be surprised if the instigators are undercover cops trying to give the uniformed cops a reason to react.

And....I sure was in a mood about this last night, wasn't I?

 

I have a good friend who drives OTR and had to roll through the shithole last night. There were a handful of the 'supposed peaceful' protesters, The rest were low life pieces of shit out tearing up the area!

From what I gathered, The 'curfew' was to help get supplies in to the business who need them and have guys at the front doors with sawed off 12ga's, AR and side arms. Those are the ones still with items and conducting 'business' as much as can be done.

They had him go to a 'staging' area with others, Then they asked for any picture/recording devices including phones. He said fuck you, They said 'good luck', You are on you're own then. Handed it over and had nothing else, Then 4 cops/NG/FBI/? got on the step rails on both sides and two on the rear.

They don't want much if any of that 'zoo' as he called it going out in the media. They are keeping them away and trying to search as many as possible from getting info and footage out. Plus, Its not just one color, Many are there just to loot and shoot, Plain and simple. Everyone is running wild like all cages were let loose and the pic of snipers are now a good idea IMO. You can look at it as 'killers' or up there scanning the area and executing danger for all.

Who knows, He said they had PA's with people talking and 'ordering' this and that to try and control the crowd. Funny thing he added, A lot of them are outsiders who are there to cause the trouble and steal. Streets lined with cars/trucks getting loaded up miles away. Making it hard to 'investigate' and the family wants peace to try and follow evidence and the law so justice is done. Right now, He will walk the way its going and the 'justifications' they can and will make. Crooked but the truth, Its Missouri!

 

Want to really fuck with the police? Do something to the doughnut shops.

 

I can see them dressing up going in and pulling that shit, If the want to try and 'contain' whats going on, That's who they are after first and work their way down.

I do hope they go home and wait for a trial and then if its a bullshit one, Go resume what you were doing. But for the funeral and whatnot, That's some fucked up shit you are pulling in front of the family grieving right now. If he was a 'bad guy' it will come out, If he was shot point blank in cold blood, That's not a cops job and consequences still apply IMO.

 

I say this whole thing was contrived. The media is mostly responsible for creating this chaos in the first place, because if it was a white guy there would be no word spoken about it. I see this ongoing event as nothing more than practice for martial law, as well as acclimating people to militarized police so eventually it will be seen as normal by most. We know the police were told to stand down as a lot of this looting was initially going on, so in my opinion the power structure wants this chaos to bring about order. Order out of chaos, as they call it.

 

While I have no doubt there are FBI informants among the crowds, I think you’re being a bit paranoid.
