There are no "rules" to syncronicity interpretation, one association can lead to another and so on. It is all personal, psychological, full of meaning to the experiencer. It is the language of the unconscious, trying to tell you about yourself. It is better to not be too rigid in the interpretation, humorous, as preferred to the tragical. Ultimately, it is our "weltanschung", or world view that determines how the data that is perceived is utilized. Frames of reference are where it is at. If life is a dream, then you are the dreamer. That does not mean that it is putty in your hands or that you can beat the house in Las Vegas. But, given the proper attention, syncronicity can give you tremendous insights into yourself and the world, which afterall, are the same. Changes in the one will affect changes in the other.
