the separate gatherings defeats the purpose of everyone getting together though

 

There's not much chance of everyone being able to get to one spot, though. If not in seperate places across the continent, then we should at least have one gathering per country..

What am I saying? I don't even have a car yet. Lol

 

well buses or hitching rides would get people there without cars

 

Fair enough. No matter how it goes down, I just hope it goes down. Lol even if I can't get to the gathering, seeing pics would be nice.

I actually JUST starting PMing a girl from the forums who lives directly across the border from me... And being as I live 10 mins from the border, that's not very far.

 

Having seperate gatherings doesnt defeat the purpose, there would just be less people. I doubt many would be able to make it across the country. I think its more reasonable to have several seperate gatherings to see how it would go the first time anyway

i wasnt gonna expect ppl like stoner bill and piano person to get here, it would be way too much money, just like i wouldnt go to germany or australia. it bacame quite obvious from the beginning that everyone wasnt going to make it to one spot. i would rather have a north america get together, but it aint gonna happen, at least the first time. i wanted to meet ppl like l-foote, captainbeefheartfan, and 40 oz, but its more than likely not gonna happen, we could have them at different times so those of us who are dedicated can attend all of them

 

How about we make it a 2 part, 2 week event (or however long it's going to be). The first week everyone meets up with their regional co-forumers. From that point, everyone who can makes the trip together to some location for the big get together. That way, everyone has an opportunity to go to one of the gatherings, and the big one still goes on for everyone who can make it.

Come to Nova Scotia! Out around here theres a ton of woods / forest area and prime "camp" land. Hippy style. lol.

If there was a meet relatively close to here, I'd definitely be up for a road trip.

 

All of us meeting up would be pretty sick, smoking with new people, who are down to earth. Im from Boston....anyone else on here from around there?

Valley Forge Park would be a really nice place to have an event. I don't know if anyone else has been there but I went there last year and acouple times this year; its pretty big and a very nice place to smoke.

 

YES valley forge is an awsome place, or even gettysburg, that a cool place. we can spend the night and hang with some civil war ghosts!

 

Hell ya, even though it'd be a long road trip I'd definitely be down for a road trip to the maritimes to go smoke a bunch of weed with all the hip forums people. IDK though from what I hear NFLD would give Nova scotia a run for its money.

 

I think it would be pretty cool to meet up with some members near Ohio. I can't really go on any road trips until July 21st, because until then my license will be suspended. There are a few things you can consider when thinking about undercover cops: they won't be younger than 21, they won't give a shit about small time forum members meeting up and smoking out, and they probably won't blend in very well. Ohio laws are pretty relaxed anyways, and I don't give a shit about getting caught with less than 100 grams, because it is a minor misdemeanor punishable by like a one hundred dollar fine.

 

hey man i'm down for anything in NS. the three of us (metallideth, l-foote) should definetly go smoke a couple bowls in the woods sometime. im up near the NB border during most of the year. also am down for a NE USA gathering, anywhere from about New York north. for this time of the year i'm open to just about anything in BC or Alberta, but I think the Island would be pretty fun. that or the kootenays or something. near nature.
