Bah.. once again I'm drafted in for emergency cover. Oh well, 's another 50 squids.

Your right liffiom, this is way too cliquey, we don't get new people cos we scare them off! Off the top of my head I know of autophobe2e and Kizen who could both be really good members on here (and boost my age group a little) but everyone in the chatroom agrees we're a scary clique.

 

Its a lot like a chatroom sometimes. In fairness I know I come here and post a lot because other areas of the forum arent as active anymore, and Im guessing its the same with other regular posters...somewhere to get together and talk I suppose, but it doesnt have to be consistent, you can say whatever you like. I like that. But then of course it becomes the same few people having a chat...cliquey

I did notice something shift a few months back, and mentioned it. I dont know, it felt like thered been a divide or something. Now everyones buggered off. I definitely never wanted to be part of the cause and hope I wasnt

Cant think what to do about it though because Im way too shattered out But if anyone else goes itll be pretty dead

 

It's cos there used to be the whole me-fin-quoth group and the sal and the the festival goers group. Then Fin ran off to get away from me, me and quoth had a minor falling out, opel and cairo etc joined and then we all got very friendly with each other. I think.

 

On a side note I dont really feel like I know anyone here well. I mean I know you and can have a chat with you...but Ive never had chance to take part in the meetups and things, and Im pretty socially awkward as it is...so despite spending an unhealthy amount of time here, and it now being cliquey, I still dont feel close to anyone. Which is a shame, and a bit odd. I like you all loads of course...ugh what am I trying to say? Maybe I could explain tomorrow

 

Yeah I think you nailed it. The whole chatroom vibe did start with you and Fin having your thing hehe

Thats what I meant back then about a divide, I mean I didnt really fit into either group

Oddly enough I think this thread is way too successful, time was when when there'd be a ton of random threads discussing all manner of topics, now it all goes in here and there are hardly any new threads Which is not very conducive to encouraging wider participation:toetap05:

Well you can count me out of that...I doubt anything Ive ever posted in off topic has ever been worthy of its very own thread Its usually just boredom or loneliness or babbles about what I had for dinner, and we dont want this turning into Random Thoughts Although with the success of the sandwich thread that could be debatable
