mmmmm chills, I can't wait for summer. I hear birds..... we're going to the country with friends this weekend. I love the smell of campfire and evergreens....
me either. I find it really weird when people south of the equator say Summers nearly over. I want to experience December as a summer month.
hahaha i feel the same way about experiencing december as a winter month! the old 'white christmas' thing.... though i don't know if i wanna swap summer christmas for winter christmas for more than one year... i'm too obsessed with the delicious spread of cold foods and salads that my mum puts together - nomnomnom! i am looking forward to cooking up some seriously hearty winter meals though... vege stews and pies and whatnot
LOL that's funny. I'm like "Christmas on the beach????!" I love hearty winter food that's the only thing I like about winter.
mmmm that and being able to wear ridiculous amounts of layers... which can make for some pretty cool looking outfits.... scoodies, arm warmers, leg warmers.. yays!
See, I don't like that. I get too hot, I can never find the right balance of layers. If I take the layers off I get too cold too fast and it takes hours to warm up.
i think my love of layering must have something to do with the crazy weather here in melbourne... the 'four seasons in one day' cliche is pretty accurate, so layers are a must if you don't wanna spend half the day freezing or boiling! i take ages to warm up once i've gotten really cold though too.. when it seeps into your bones it's never nice
lol a few weeks ago we went on a hike and the cold got to my hip and I couldn't walk. Summer is going to be so amazing. I love July!!!! OMG July is a winter month there!
Yes to Shambhala; No to Burning Man. Yes to one show at Red Rocks for String Cheese. Maybe to Motion Notion. If we do Mo No we will likely be taking the kiddos to that one. Nice one to start breaking them in on. YOU???
you'd be surprised DV - there's a lot of snowy christmas tree cards here... despite the fact they're totally irrelevant to us! the worst thing is christmas trees with FAKE SNOW on them..... srsly!
