Moravian Falls native here. I travel/live a few places with in a one hour radius. Statesville, Mocksville, Winston, Wilkesboro my family is pretty big.

I live in Montgomery county (pronounced "Mawnt *short pause* gumery)
and it is utter hicksville.

I was driving the other day (cause cops dont give a shit around here) and happened upon a klan meet! It scared the bejebus out of me! Some guy with the full KKK get-up on and an AK assault rifle strapped around his back, came up to the car and asked if I was there for the meet. I said "sorry, wrong driveway" and PROMPTLY left.

Its really sad that that still goes on.

 

Just moved to Siler City from Raleigh....Cheap Land and good country living if one can get past the lovely smell of cow shit. LMK of y'all want to meet up some time. I got a few acres to party on.

I lived in Charlotte back in 03 for 4 months. My family lives in Belmont now. I will be moving back to NC, goin next weekend to look at houses. Around the Charlotte area.

 

You should check out The Juggling Gypsy Cafe. I know the people who run it and they are amazing !! Bash and Europamoon are wonderful people. Good crowd to run in.

Hello all, I live in the Charlotte area(Huntersville/Cornelius/Davidson) and plan on going to school in Boone in a year or 2

I love it all from the wild horses on the coast to the stars in the mountains!

 

I live in little ol' Granite Falls, just outside of Hickory. We've lived here for 4 months, ever since I popped my baby girl out. Before this I lived in Alexander county, before that Statesville, before that Alexander county, before that Alexander county, before that Newport News, VA (I fucking hated it there) before that Tennessee......

anyway yeah I like it here since I am a southern girl at heart but at the same time I hate living in the bible belt....people freak out here when I breastfeed my little poopie monster in public....

I would like to move somewhere in the southwest just for a change of scenery

I live in Raleigh and I can't wait to leave. North Carolina is an awesome place, but i'd rather live in Asheville or somewhere in the mountains. Raleigh is pretty lame and most of the people here are boring. I'll be moving to Boone in a couple years. It's better than Raleigh, but not by much.
