The NEW North Carolina Peeps thread

I’m in the Raleigh-Durham-RTP area… most the time. I love having the mountains a few hours one way, and the beach an hour in the other. That and the million colleges within about 20 miles of each other make for pretty interesting nightlife once you figure out how the nightlife here works (it’s just different, ie: no people downtown at night). Oh, and Chapel Hill rules. I heart thee, especially the Cat’s Cradle… I’ve seen so many good shows there over the years.

Hey sisters soul, is there a Ma’s Diner around Dunn? Been awhile since I traveled that way but they had the best cheeseburger ever! Hope they didn’t close.

 

I wish i lived in the western part of the state ;p

 

I am originally from High Point NC. I moved around a lot and then found NY to be better for my line of work!

I live in Fayetteville NC so Dunn is probly about a 45 min ride for me and Raleigh only takes about an hour!! We should all meet up for dinner or something!

Ive been in NC since January, and it quickly grew on me. I think I'm in NC to stay...

 

I'm in the Winston Salem/Kernersville area.. Perfect if you're looking to get shot by a redneck and a meth dealer simultaneously as opposed to being bored to death but rarely anything more.

 

Im in beaufort, I just moved here a couple a months ago. I love it so far. If you are ever here ya gotta go to backstreet pub.

 

Im not new...but Im in the far down east region of Caretert County called Otway...right off Harkers Island.

 

iam in greenville, just moved here back in august, i need some cool cats to hang with, that are near here, i wanna be in the mountains, hehe, i will be in like 2 and half years iam goin to brasstown to go to that folk school

I'm back in my home town now , Wilmington , but I lived in Otway for a while. I miss it.

I'm sure we crossed paths somewhere. I left 2 years ago. Rented from Johnny Strap behind the Auto parts store. I was in and out of the area for about ten years. I moved to Harkers Is. in '97 to learn to build boats. I was the guy with the long hair and VW bus. But I wrecked the bus in 2000.

 

lol well im from the same area..and im slightly less bitter about it but maybe thats the age difference...
