Some major flash flooding happening throughout QLD at the moment. Just around Toowoomba there's been 8 confirmed deaths, 4 of which have been children, and a further 70-80 unaccounted for. My best wishes go out to all of those affected.

Yesterday, at work, a customer came inside and told me that "it was colder than a witches titty in a brass bra."

He got me. Left me speechless, didn't know how to respond. So I figured wheni saw him today I would say something to him about the weather just as strange, if not stranger. Buuuuuuuuuuuut, I cant think of anything that would leave him in the awkward state he left me in.

had a bad day today, my heads just not in the game, need to focus and continue writing my thesis but it's quite difficult, what with the lack of focus and all

 

Wasted an hour and a half on a phone interview to be told at the end they want £199 from me.

Spent the afternoon faffing. Went to a work training think about customer service- the motto being "smile or die". I think I was teacher's pet. Went to the pub with work people after. Had two pints of cider (500ml bottle) and feel quite lovely and tipsy Went to sainsburys and got 2 more bottles of fruit cider <3 Oh and the new guy's friend wanted to know my name. He said " my mate said 'dude blacks! there's a girl in there with dreads.. etcetc'" He has a lip ring apparently so I'll be on the look out..

 

Today I practiced bass, procrastinated coursework, applied for a job and found out I have a half sister...

 

Well that's not something that happens everyday


Was having your normal average day.. Spending far too much time on the computer, WHEN OUT OF THE CORNER OF MY EYE, WHAT DO I SEEE?!!? Yes i see that its sunny outside, so i rings up the missus. So now we're on a mission to convince our mates to finish their stooopiiidsss day jobs, so we can drive out to the groins(a big place with grass and bbqs).

Moral of the story, hopefully the rest of my day will be filled with sun and sausage
