I love this slr. Getting film developed tomorrow so I'll see if my guess work has been successful ^^ Dad is giving me two more of grandad's old slrs, an old fuji (with a light meter inside) andddd a Corfield 66 eexxcciitteddd. Manual is so much more fun than digital

 

8 or 9 inches of snow here so yet again i cant cycle yet work is busy, the roads are so bad outside my restaurant that people are giving up abandoning their cars due to and intense need to pee and coming in and getting food, which is amusing

 

Looking at accommodation for next year. Campus accommodation was full so I didn't get a place there, although there'll be a 2nd round of offers but not until right before I'll have to move down anyway so I can't leave it that long to wait.

If only a one bedroom unit was cheaper, I'd be happy to do that. I think a share house is going to have to be the way to go, although because I'm shy it's off putting for me lol.

There was one cool option though. A 9m yacht that's constantly moored, that had stove, cooktop, fridge and that. There were toilets and showers at the clubhouse thing. Was $150 a week, including electricity. Although it was a little far from the uni and I don't know whether it's moored at the warf or in the out in the inlet in the open water.

Ruined another film today I haven't been pressing the rewind release knob so I've ripped the film. I thought I was winding it off the canister but nooo I've just been doing it wrong. So taking the same pictures as I did yesterday to fill up the film so that I can get it developed tomorrow. Tempted to get a negative scanner so that I don't have to buy prints to see my images ^^

 

the snow has caused all staff that are any distance away from work to be snowed out, which means i have to work again today my 8th straight day in work which means i have to do ten straight before christmas day because im in tomorrow and friday, its supposed to be a time for family i miss my family

 

This wasn't today, but I don't care...

On Monday I went up to Boreal and got my shred on. I was on the mountain for about 7 hours and I was able to cap it off by cleanly hitting the two biggest jumps of my life after only two missed attempts. I wasn't going quite fast enough the first two tries so I came up short and boy does that hurt the ol' knees... landing on a flat surface from at least 10 feet (3+ meters) in the air... but third times the charm It was under the spotlights too. Stoketastic... I love being a fool on a hill
