    Kreiger of The Doors always seems to be overshadowed by Jim. But he desreves most of the credit for that band.

    underSTATED people...not underrated. sheesh.
    i'd agree w/ dhs' call on bobby weir. pretty idiosyncratic style, and definitely not flashy.
    my vote goes to robbie robertson of the band.

    the guitarist for steely dan sometimes really shreds it up, but i agree...he's so good whether he's holding back or not.
