Its gotta be echoes, dont listen to it sober, you will think it is too slow or something and try to compare it to the mainstream chord progression songs Its very fluid, somewhat jazzy and music is amazing, the words are acid itself
I wouldent say this is the most epic song, but I have been listening to it constantly lately, it really motivates me to keep on fighting toward my goals in life which is gorilla conservation. Its a new band called Flobots. All their songs are good. But this is just really inspirational in my mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdF-YkECTVc
im a huge fan of vinyl ever since i found my dad's copy of sgt peppers lonley hearts club band on vinyl when i was ten, i've always preferred it over digital. every time i hear something thats mp3 or cd is just doesn't sound as right or whole.
i am, too! i need to invest in a record player, though my parents have 3 big plastic tubs full of albums, plus i got my own little collection going on, too... when i get a record player, that's probably all i'm gonna listen to.
i think i suggested this to you before, but you should check out the sony ps lx250h its a turn table that i bought from amazon for less than 100$, and it sounds great! it has a diamond tipped needle, built in pre amp, and all that good stuff. looks like this. you should check it out if you want an inexpensive and decent turn table
I couldn't DISagree with you more! Bohemian Rhapsody is the last thing I would ever think of when discussing something epic. This song makes me sick to my stomach, and pretty much all of Queen's music. As far as my epic music- or what you guys are referring to when you discuss your favorite stoner songs, here is my list. David Crosby- Cowboy Movie Traffic- Low spark of high heeled boys Stevie Ray Vaughan- Ain't gonna give up on love, Little Wing Led Zeppelin- I can't quit you babe, You shook me Fleetwood Mac- Oh Well, Hypnotized There is a lot of music that I consider "epic," but unfortunatly Queen would never deserve the energy it would cost me to play their music, or my sanity for that matter. Sorry.
me either bohimian rhaposdy gets old quicky, i agree, but queen has alot of good songs (besides we will rock you of course) tie your mother down, crazy little thing called love, the show must go on, another one bites the dust, we are the champions, stoned cold crazy, i want it all, killer queen, and don't stop me now Freddie Mercury's voice is legendary too
I don't like the mainstream songs by Queen that EVERYONE knows. Bohemian Rhapsody for one.. I like the songs that are lesser known.. and yes Freddie Mercury's voice is fucking amazing.
Epitaph - King Crimson Tarkus - Emerson Lake and Palmer Across 110th Street - Bobby Womack (Not long, but it feels epic nonetheless) Firth of Fifth - Genesis The Missed Symphony - Infected Mushrooms Sequent C - Tangerine Dream Are a few that come to mind.
