To reply to the 6 year old OP:

Are we also lying about having astronauts on board the international space station? Proably, other than the fact that I've personally talked to them via radio.

Are we lying about landing on the moon? Probably.... Funny, how I've seen one of the moon rocks brought back.

Are we being lied to about apollo 13 landing on the moon? Not that I'm aware, I was under the impression that they suffered detrimental equipment failure and where forced to slingshot around the moon and skip the planned landing, returning strait to earth.

If the moon's a star, it's news to me.

I bet we're also lying about all the NASA and army tech that lead to the development of the internet, that we're talking over right now.

While the theory in the op seems a bit out to lunch, that's not always true. If they seem irrational it's likely because they go against the common story, what we've been told were the actual events, which are often not what actually took place.

 

The way you can tell if a conspiracy theory is irrational is when evidence against the theory is treated as evidence for the conspiracy.

So for example, when person A believes that the moon landings were faked and person B presents evidence that they were real. If person A says that person B is clearly part of the conspiracy to cover up the hoax, then the conspiracy theory is irrational.

Though when the president of a country tells everyone on national television not to give into conspiracy theories after a very strange, tragic event takes place, chances are there's a conspriacy going on.

 

That sort of gave the game away didn't it? Sometimes I think the clues the left are so obvious they wanted everyone to know. Some sort of mass fracturing of the mind, trauma based mind control.

 

The best place to hide something is right out in the open.

When dealing with whatever happened at Roswell, the military hid some of the material right out there in weapons R&D and foreign intelligence for all to see. But when you're only looking at something one piece at a time, you never get the full picture. That's the idea.

When people can take tourist vacations to the moon and see these historic sites with their own eyes, the same people making these arguments now, will just argue that the evidence was planted afterwards....
