    At the drive-in was so much better! But however, I pretty liked the previous Mars Volta album. There was something experimental in it that I really appreciated. This album is more of this experimenting, only too much of the same and less good in my opinion.

    I wasn't as impressed with the At the drive in stuff they did. But the mars volta has soared to one of my all time favorite bands. And it takes alot to even get on my top ten list

    I just recently d/l Omar Rodriguez's solo album (the guitarist for mars volta) and it is absolutely phenomanal.

    I haven't heard them b4 but this Saturday I'm going to a System of A Down concert and their one of the opening acts so I guess I'll get to hear them very soon. Hope their as good as people say.
