The worst of that is the line they are trying to push that the baggy pants guy was kicked off for not following their directions...

If they were directing him to do something that they had no right to be directing him about, such as pulling up his pants, then they are 100% in the wrong....

Think about what it means if they get away with it and its brushed under the carpet...

Well, there are multiple reasons.

To start with, the census itself is a waste of money, time and resources.

There is NO information that the census gets, that the government does not already have.

The claim made by supporters of the census is that it is used to develop soical services for the needy. Except that they totally ignore the most needy during the census.

Then there is the issue that they take just average people, give them a few hours of training, and then give them to power to walk into everyones house and make demands..

The police don't even have that power.

Why in the fuck would I grant some yahoo working a minimum wage job once every four years that type of power?

Then there is the issue that I just don't like strangers coming on my property asking questions...

If they were to spend 10% of the money that the census costs on gathering together the information they already have, they could use that other 90% to actually HELP those that need it most, rather then ignoring them.

 

on the American census done last year, several of my friends wrote in their race and put HUMAN i thought it was badass!

anyway i'm finally rested, i haven't had enough sleep since last thursday and it only got worse over the weekend after a long night of penis envy :drool5: and then i've been working god damn early every morning this week....now i'm chillin smokin enjoyin the day...

i keep looking for anti-war protests...i want the fucking US to pull out of Afghanistan today...TODAY, not next week or a month from now or fucking 10 years from now SOOON dammit.

anyone know how to plan a protest? ever done it before? (i'll probably make another thread in the activism section at some point). I know I'll need a permit....where the fuck are the protests these days? people care but don't actually put their passion into practice. sorry i'm getting sooo frustrated with the government. All of those are possibly reasons AGAINST conducting a census. But logically because they are already conducting a census you haven't given any reasons to not fill out the form.

Your refusal to fill out the form actually cost the government more money because they had to visit you multiple times and get an officer involved.

Just would have been easier to fill out the stupid form and be over it.
