i think i'd pay more attention to celebrities if they beat their kids....

Im only interested for entertainment purposes only. i like to laugh at the stupid and idiotic things celebrities do. Ha. makes me laugh.

the only ones i am interested in are the ones i respect. very few of those.

Don't get me wrong. I love watching celebrities. I can't get enough. I probably could, but I have yet to reach that point, but one day Peter will end up carrying my child-ren if everything goes to plan.

 

well if you've already broken their spirit, why not break a few bones while you're at it?

 

I try to keep up with what roles actors are taking.

But I can't really care too much about their personal lives unless their more intresting then mine. I live like enough of a rockstar for me to be entertained by who's in rehab.

 

Some things can be funny, or very interesting, about celebrities' lives. I may be interested in a certain star's life, but not always, and most of the time I don't care much about their private lives. I prefer a good movie or song.

 

MOST 'celebrities' REAL lives, are like anyone else's, minus the psycho-fans.

which is why, when there not having to be somewhere near where their working, they prefer to live in little towns no one's ever heard of, among people who only see them without their celebrity makup, and mostly have no idea that's who they are.

or at least that's the case for those few i've run into. of course i've never lived in one of those towns they have to be near when there 'working'.

of course there's celebrities and there's celebrities too. i mean there's genre celeb's who the mainstream mostly ignores or never hears of, and they of course don't generally have the psycho-fan problem to deal with, other then at conventions where their invited to stoke their egos by being arround those they do have.

of course the rich ones, who have more money then time, that alone dictates certain things about how they HAVE TO live, which i think many of them drop out from that being not how they, or anyone sane, would prefer to.

but even most of them are just people too, other then celebrity ceo/politicians, which is another matter entirely then merely entertainment alone celebritys. it's no wonder THAT bunch is a little dingie with one foot in on a banana peal streight to jail (and possibly earning it), do not pass go, and the other somewhere close economic nervana.

(what main stream psycho-fandom somewhat laughably ignorantly overlooks it that celebrity isn't a life, its just a frikkin job!)

I would rather watch a show that talked about normal day to day white trash and what they do, then watch anything that involves celebrites.

It really upsets me when I turn on CNN and see a special report on Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. When that whole Anna Nicole Smith thing happened I thought I was going to break down and cry the next time I heard her name. I can understand seeing that shit on MTV, E!, or anything else.....but CNfuckingN!??? What is this god forsaken country coming to?

 

one reason i never turn the damd thing on, because that's all 'the ministry of truth' (ne corporate media) ever wants to give us any more.

if cnn hadn't thrown its credibility out with the bath water when it engineered the tragidy of tenimin squre, which had been going along peacefully, but that just wasn't high enough ratings news for them, they damd sure did when they hired lou dobbs.

You ever see the "Why is this news?" segment on Mind of Mencia?? The show has gone down the drain since the 2nd season, but I do enjoy that segment.
