My mate Gaz was sitting in the 1st class departure lounge of Chicago O’Hare airport waiting for an important client to join him for the flight back to London.

Sitting two tables away is Bill Gates and his entourage.

Gaz walks over. “Mr. Gates. I do not wish to intrude but I have long been an admirer of your business acumen and humanitarian outlook. In a few minutes I am about to meet the man who will seal the biggest business deal of my life, securing the future of both my company and my family. Could you see your way clear, when he arrives, to waving and saying ‘Hi Garry’?”

Bill Gates chuckles and says “Sure son. I admire your entrepreneurial spirit”

“Thank you Mr. Gates" says Gaz and goes back to his seat. 5 minutes later the important client arrives and Gaz catches Gates’ eye. Sure enough, Gates gives a little wave and calls “Hi Garry, hows the family?”

“Fuck off Gates, I’m in a meeting” replies Gaz.
