Big Fish was fantastic, i forgot about that movie. Ill have to rewatch it soon

I'm watching the Karate Kid..well, kinda half paying attention half playing on the internet

 

i just finally got around to watching harold and maude


loved it..great movie

Tower heist.
I always say "it's just a movie"
But this one was beyond the scope of believability.
Which is OK when it comes to sci-fi but not movies about a robbery.

 

Passengers might have been a pretty decent space sci-fi if it weren't for the disaster of a script. Soon as the main character stepped in to Xmas with the dance hologram that was it for me. And Arthur the bartender was a cheesy ****. Like a gay robot version of Simon Pegg.

Lots of similarities to 2001 in there, and the ballroom bar was very similar to the one from The Shining. I guess Morton Tyldum is also a big fan of Kubrick then.

It's pretty watchable though, you wont be throwing away two hours of your life for nothing. The plot development had potential, it's just whoever was drafted in to write the script was apparently a bit of a moron. There are lots of cool things about it, worth watching in 3D maybe.

Definately wouldn't mind a ride in that space ship, but maybe just to the Oort Cloud and back? I don't do suspended animation, more of a warp drive kind of spacefarer really.

Also, don't think I've seen Jennifer Lawrence looking so sexy.
