Yes, it's a brilliant film, one of my favourites:)

    Last one:
    A Canterbury Tale (1944), I'm having a Powell / Pressburger season:D

The Bourne Ultimatum ... excellent action, good end to the trilogy; but well if you are a purist tis nothing like the book.
i haven't read the first two, but in anticipation of seeing this movie I bought the book and started reading it (about 1/7 the way through - 100 pages or so). The movie is NOTHING like the book. Seems like it's a totally different perspective of what happened with Jason Bourne.
Makes me want to go back and read the first two to see what else was missed in the movies. :)

Atonement at the cinema. Totally not my kind of film usually, but it had me semi-interested because of the love story between the handsome chap and the chisel-faced girl...but then it just dragged too long. It was ok though

Hahaha, ahh that cracked me up. I think it was 'handsome chap and the chisel-faced girl' that did it :)

I watched 'Revolver' last night. Brilliant!
Third viewing of the film and it was the best yet. I guess it's just starting to make a bit of sense!

Kidulthood. 'Kids' meets 'Thirteen' meets an English 'Boyz n the Hood', excellent portrayal of some of the style of modern urban Britain with a great UK hiphop and rap soundtrack!:)

'The Wind That Shakes The Barley' - loved it, a great piece of work, heart wrending and highly political, as appropriate to modern imperialism as to that of the 1920s. 'How can an election be free and fair in a country occupied by the most powerful nation on Earth?' - Something tells me Ken Loach wasn't really talking about Ireland when he slipped that in....
